Okay so :
Dead Inside - 8/10
Psycho - 7/10
Mercy - 6/10
Reapers - 9/10
The Handler - 8/10
Defector - 4/10
Revolt - 7/10
Aftermath - 9/10
The Globalist - 6/10
Drones - 9/10
73/100, a quite good album
-
I think the best way to leak the album would be to leak the chiptune version (8-bit) of the songs before the real songs
-
So, which song gonna have violin? Can't remember
i think it's Unsustainable
-
The "Killed By" part will be a "robot" vocoder for sure I think.
i'm quite sceptical.. i wouldn't like a robot voice in that song (i don't really like the live version..) but yep who knows maybe it will sound good
-
I'm quite optimistic about the studio version of Reapers. The only thing I'm afraid of is that robot voice in the Chorus...it sounds good live but who knows how it sounds in the studio Version...I hope its not too much in the foreground if you know what I mean.
it won't be a robot voice, you can hear the chorus in an instagram snippet

I'm leaning towards the italian track-by-track implying that Globalist+Drones together is 13 minutes, but I think Drones will be short so I reckon Globalist will be around 11 minutes itself. Which is more than enough to satisfy me
What do people predict to be the entire album length? I was trying to think of the most realistic lengths of songs (just conjecture, but I don't think Defector/Revolt/Aftermath will be more than 4-5 mintues each, but I do think Reapers will be the full 6 minutes with the outro). I added them up, and I got ~51 minutes. Not as long as the last couple of albums, but longer than BHaR.
The lengths are on Musewiki, check the songs pages

It was a great setlist! And a great concert judging from the video that Trimix has on YT
Bercy 2012 was 9000 times better than SdF (Falling Down and Host, best moment of my whole life)
-
people actually got that? IN A ROW?
Stade De France 2013 yep... worst setlist ever (except Dead Star though)
-
whenever I talk about music and drums, I keep finding myself watching to this.
what an amazing guy. I still cant believe how underrated he is and how people can admire Ringo or Bonham but not this mastermind. Amazing rock, jazz, even african drum playing.
edit:
lol I wrote all that stuff and forgot to write about you... You definetly have the beat and tone keep it up ^^
Thank you dude !
i agree with you, Ringo is far from a good drummer ! My favourite drummer ever is Tim Alexander and Brain Mantia (both were from Primus)
-
Hm, can't open this.. Well, learning the drums might be easier than learnign guitar or paino...you need a feel for rhytm! but hey, i don't really know it!
so here is another recording of one of my projects where i play the drums
-
I don't play an instrument, but I can hear it very well when something is too slow, or not in the flow, when a wrong note is played -which wasn't the case here, the last I mentioned. I'd say I have absolute hearing. Wish I could play the piano, or e guitar, but to learn it i am too impacient
i played the bass for 5 years and the drums for 1 year and you wanna know how i learned the drums ? without any drums. You don't have to be patient to learn the drum, you just have to imagine a drum in front of your computer while listening to a music. That's why i can play this : (that's me on the drums) https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=649079825220776&permPage=1
-
His drumming was not okay at all, more out of time than the guitar
first he surely doesn't know how to install an electronic drum (right-handed and playing the toms on the left uh ?)
And i don't think he can play with a 12/8 signature
(sorry for my english, from a french fag)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKqujgz7OIM&feature=youtu.be OMG that cover is so terrible
-
Why would they be tuned for drop C?
MOTP is played in C so they played the riff in C to match with the end of the song
-
0:11 and we all shall be fucked
-
What if there's nothing on iTunes and this is just our imagination making us see the Drones cover ?
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
300 viewings, all aboard
-
The Heckler, by Primus, was played live for about 15 years before being recorded for Antipop in 1999 !
-
In France we say 8h and 20h instead of "8pm" and "8am" that's why the single was aired in the morning by accident
-
we all got rick roll'd tonight
-
New single confirmed !
#MuseSongForTheDead
-
Queen of the stone age, last song.

-
