Classic Muse.

You guys should all vote for a song from the demo tape, just to fuck with them.
And yeah, those voting for the hits should be dragged through salted glass.
-
One would say say that that would also keep the band more interested / on their toes. Wouldn't be bad for Muse to get a bit out of their comfort zone again.
-
Even Coldplay, a band with about the same amount of songs, play 22/23 songs per night. Mainly focused on the new album and they're not the band to rotate a lot of songs, but at least it's a career spanning set with a lot less filler.

"Dig Down"...
I don't know why, but to me a title like this doesn't give off encouraging vibes about how the song will sound.
I'll be extremely happy to be proved otherwise.
It's not like "Showbiz" or "The Groove" are exactly inviting songtitles. Judge the song, not the tittle.

Matt with his first custom Manson acoustic.

So... Assassin?

I know that comparing Muse to Queen is a little overdone now, but if Freddie Mercury was able to rock the fully-packed Wembley Stadium while spending half of his set behind a piano, then shouldn't Matt be able to do the same?
And no, Matt is obviously no Freddie Mercury, but still, it can't be that hard.
Out of the 28 songs Queen played, he sat behind his piano for 3 songs and never for the whole song. So....

Lyrics aren't worse then some stuff on Drones.

Let's sacrifice ADL to the gods and see what happens.
To honour him, Muse will not play CE.

Wonder what's going on in that man's head right now.

They're filming one of the Milan gigs in 4k, according to Hans-Peter van Velthoven (muse's main photographer)

Sending some good karma your way

I'm calling it that if defector is played, it won't be after JFK.

tbf, there were fans from other areas at each of my gigs that were more than willing to regale us with tales for hours upon hours in queue of how much the US gigs sucked and we needed to go to Europe to see a "real" Muse gig.
Enough that my bf, without having any of this knowledge, was promising me in queue for DC that he was going to save up enough money over the next few years to be able to take me to a good gig overseas.
It was fucking heartbreaking.
Just don't go to Belfast.

Muse will be on at 8.30!

I think you'll be more disappointed when you're there and they don't play it than when you're not there and they do play it.
-
No i wouldn't but it's not likely to happen.
You're the kind of person that thinks that the pull out method is sufficient protection.

What's the point of going to a gig with earplugs? I honestly can't think a dumbest thing to do. Save the money and listen through youtube...
I actually have tinnitus due to concerts and have to wear earplugs unless I want to cause more damage. If you're 21 and have constant ringing noises/beeps in your ears like me, you wouldn't be saying that kinda bullshit

I saw Coldplay on their arena tour in 2011, when they were promoting their fifth album, and they only played for 85 minutes. So yes, it could be worse
They didn't do it in Amsterdam last week, though...
Except they didn't use any fillers did they? Just a tight set of songs. If Muse would ditch all the filler and downtime, their sets would also be close to 90 minutes, with two more albums under their belt than Coldplay at the time. So, argument invalid.

I bet Matt does this on purpose, the evil bastard.
