    No one's posting in our thread anymore :( for those who bother to check, what can you guys say about the MK Ultra video? Me thinks it's awesome :awesome:

    I almost cried while watching it because to tell the truth videos about human trafficking/child labor makes me very sad :(

    Ay nakalimutan ko nananaman tong thread, lol. Di ko na nachecheck kung nasa Myx top 20 pa ang nsc ngaun. wala na ata pero atleast nakita ko sila sa 18. Atleast nakapasok. :p

    Started playing Harvest Moon ulit, yung sa gba at lalaking version, ginawa farmer si Matt tapos dog si Dom at si Chris yung horse haha. Yung Farm pinangalan ko as Roswell hahaha, sana may mag appear na alien at iabduct yung character ko hahahaha. :LOL:

    Hey guys! I am on Muse and internet diet. I had my internet disconnected so there won't be any distractions while I'm studying. Board exam ko na on saturday. Wish me luck guys, by next year I wanna go to London to take up my master's :) plus I'll be your Muse merch shopping advocate :LOL:

    Aly, nood tayo Eclipse next week so we can find out what scene they'd play NSC tapos labas na tayo. Hahahahah

     

    Ay wow! GL! Balak ko rin magpunta ng London para makapagtrain sa music eh. Pero balak palang... Poor lang me :LOL:

     

    Yung mga kaklase ko manonood, sabi ko sa isa sa kanila na itext ako kapag naplay yung NSC since napakingan na nya yun. So yun lol, well... that sounds like a good plan... ahaha XD I guess sa credits ipeplay yun, guess lang :p

    Anyway...

     

    Sorry for not being active anymore. I still love Muse, but my obsession has taken a much-needed vacation. It got too tired after my massive hype following the Singapore gig. I long for new Musey stuff that will bring it back home.

     

    That Neutron Star shiz didn't impress me much. I haven't even found the drive to see the video. I hope that it's not going to be the direction they will be taking in their next album. (hmmm. More UD-ish tracks, rather? A Lady GaGa collaboration, maybe? Hahaha!)

    I do understand, don't say sorry. As if being active is a big necessity in this thread XD. I'm starting to take a break from my obsession too these days but I don't think that I'm trying to restrain myself from it. Yung para bang nagsawa ka lang ng biglaan na kailangan mo muna mag... take a break. Parang sa pagkain, pagkinain mo ng kinain araw araw may chance ka na mag sawa kagad pero pag kinain mo ng every other day eh... ayus lang. Hanep, pagkain ang ginawang example lol!

     

    I started to feel neutral about that song. It's like a hate it or love it song for me. Though I like the way it has the KoC element in it. I think it'll be more better if he somehow change some parts of the lyrics. I kinda miss the way they use 'deep' words in their songs ahaha.

    I don't think blaming Twilight is accurate, though Twilight is the medium through which many more people found out about Muse. Matt wrote that song right after he broke up with his long-time girlfriend, according to an interview. And Muse has been on this trajectory of music for quite some time now.

     

    To me, it's a new low for the band in terms of the quality of the songwriting. Poorly written lyrics mixed with a concoction of recycled stuff from their past songs ("Snowflakes in the ocean" instead of "droplets"; KoC rhythm during the verse; cheesy USoE-reminiscent intro). It's not so much because of Twilight as much as where Muse is setting themselves up in their careers, really.

     

    Well I got nothing much to say for now though yeah, I do agree. We all can't blame Twilight for this thing. I didn't knew the song was made after he broke up with his GF.

    The songs sounds okay. For me, the right word to describe it is mainstream!:p

    It has a KoC-ish element that I liked very much and Matt's voice is still great :happy:

     

     

    I really hate Stephenie Meyer for this. No Muse-y songs for twatlighters!

    It's still fine, I have no problem on his voice or any of the instruments in it. It's just the style. Freaking Meyer... It's her fault Muse became like this. <_<" BURN THE WITCH!!! lol :p

    Napa smile ako sa simula pero parang wala lang sa gitna eh. Parang weak tong song na to :stunned:

     

    Maganda nga sya pero... ewan ko lang. Alam ko di parin yan ang full pero narinig ko na yung 1st verse 2nd verse at chorus eh. Di naman sya panget, aus lang. Di lang gano 'musey' yung style nya. Malaki na ang pinagbago ng Muse :stunned:

    Yan ba faves mo? Personally, I think their songs that are best heard live are SS, MotP, KoC and MK Ultra. I almost forgot, pati pala Dead Star :D

     

    Satingin ko kc yung New Born sa BDO 2004 and best live version nun eh :p

    Ang pinaka fav kong live versions kc yung SMBH in Wembley Stadium, MM in Nulle Part Ailleurs, SS in Pinkpop, Agitated in Eurockeennes, Starlight in ...Later Jools Holland and Fury in royal albert hall. Dead Star! X)

    Which thread was this, the NSC thread? I kept seeing disappointed status updates or comments from my Muser friends about the clip earlier today. I seriously only saw one person who liked it. But maybe that says something about the Muser friends I have.

     

    The release is only a few days away so we'll see.

     

    Oh, it's the PMT thread. I just apologized about it a few minute ago. All of them said "It's so cool!" "So awesome can't wait for it!" "I love it!" and I'm the only one who just popped in and said it's cheesy and they all replied at me like... they don't agree or something. I was just being honest though... I'm just a regular PMTer and I didn't expected the replies... I haven't checked the NSC thread yet.

    A bit cheesy, right?

     

    I'm fully expecting the worst... but hoping for the best. Though... remember when people were saying the song "Resistance" would be shit after hearing the :30 sample of it? Then it turned out to be not such a bad song after all. I'm trying to hold judgment until I hear the whole thing. The :30 sample of NSC does not bode well, though.

     

    Well yeah, I kinda regret what I've said on the other thread because I immediately judge the song as 'bad' even though I haven't heard of the full song and I'm the only one there who doesn't like it. Yes, it does sound a bit cheesy. We'll never know if it'll turn out good or not till we hear the whole song... I have high hopes for it, I also have high hopes before the 30 sec preview was released, then I got disappointed after I heard it. I'm not giving up my hope on the full version... But maybe it just sounds bad at first and if we keep on listening and listening to it we'll find out that it is great :)

    napanuod ko na 2 last 2 years ata....sawa na ako dito..hahaha..pinagsasawaan ko ung USoE... ganda ng piano nun eh... nakita ko na din mga profile nila ..almost lahat...haha...tgal na kasi eh...kaso ala pa rin concert...haizzz...buti pa paramore nagconcert..pero mas magaling muse live.!!!

     

    Ayoko ng Paramore... Too mainstream for me. (no offense sa mga Paramore fans, I don't hate them I just don't like them. They're good I know, they're just not my style :p )

     

    Maganda yang The resistance eh... Masyadong deep ang meaning, maganda na ang sound maganda pa meaning. Yan ang mga gusto kong songs eh. Tapos topic politics... hanep, MK ULTRA... A government brainwashing machine. Maypagka educational kahit papano tong Muse eh (kapag pinakingan mo ng maayos~ lol). Pinaka ayaw ko lang Guiding Light lol! Maganda sya pero parang ewan eh... Marami na ngang nagsasawa dun yun ng yun ang nilalagay nila sa setlist nila. An dami dami nilang ibang kanta... yun ng yun. Sana kung magcoconcert sila d2, laruin nila Muscle Museum. Naku napaka swerte natin kung dito ulit lalaruin yon. It's been a long time since they last played it. Fat chance... Nilaro na nila ng nilaro yung Starlight sa radio pero lang response. So inisip nila di nagclick d2 yung kanta nila.

     

    Kung may piano lang ako unang una kong ipapractice yang Sunburn, New Born at Collateral Damage.

    almost 4 years na akong fan...kami pala...ngaun lng ako naghanap ng forum..at sobrang galing daw live version nila kaya gusto ko sila pumunta dito...hindi ko r in trip yung ibang band...gusto ko kasi magaling sa instruments at falsetto ang boses...fan din kasi ako ng RATM

    Oo, magaling sila sa Live. Ilang bes na sila nagkaroon ng best live band award eh. Try mo tong pakingan, much more better than the studio version:

    A ako kaya ko nagstick in sa Muse dahil mix of rock and electro sila. Eh yung dalawang yun ang favorite kong music genre. Saka maypagka classical sila at yung style nila maypagka 'space'-cy parang lulumutang ka sa langit! lol :p At maganda ang mga subjects nila. Aliens, government conspiracies and a bit of love XD

    ok lang...haha...matagal ka na ba dito? hay...ang dami rin ako kakilala kaso tinatamad sumali sa forum...haha..ganun talaga

     

    Feb lang aq nagsimula, last week of jan ko nadiscover ang Muse tapos mga ilang araw sumali ako sa forums. Ganun ako eh, kapag gusto ko yung banda/artist pupunta ako sa forums kasi I'd like to learn more about the band rather than sit here and listen to their music. Kasi kung pagbabasihan mo ang wikipedia o ibang sources wala kang mapapala. Dito kasi makikita mo yung mga ibat ibang jokes about them, yung mga favorites nila at mga ibang bagay na exclusively for fans only. Pero dito lang sa forums nato ako nag stay, yung ibang banda na gusto eh... parang I don't care about them that much eh lol :p

     

    Meron ba silang FB? sali naman sila sa filipino musers group oh :( 60 lang kami, pero 3 or 4 lang ata kaming nagpopost don lol!

    hi.. im new here...

    im gabriel... i was surprised that there are many fans of muse in the philippines but not enough to make muse tour here... muse is not famous here in the philippines...their music doesn't appeal to filipino masses...but still.. im hoping for their tour in the phil.

    marami din fans ng muse pero hindi nila alam na may ganitong thread pala dito tulad ng mga kaklase ko... pinsan ko...haha..wala lang. sino taga UST dito?

    Ui... San ba kayu nakakapagprint ng mga picture sa t-shirt na hindi naka emboss yung picture? Kasi kapag nagpapatatak kami ng t-shirt - kasi kailangan sa school - laging naka emboss e ayoko nun :/ Aus lang kung mahal basta maganda, worth it naman panigurado eh
