I'm planning to get up real early on Friday and head over to the United Center straight from Milwaukee. Since Chicago is a big city I'm guessing people are going to be lined up early.
My question is how early or when is the best time to get lined up for these bigger venues in particular to get the barrier. The next night in Detroit may not be so bad... Either way barrier here I come!!
For the New York gig I managed to show up only 1.5 hours before they let the crowd in and was able to be about 5th row in front of Matt. Once Matt threw his glasses into the crowd, people went nuts diving on the floor for them and I made my move to the 2nd row. So, in my experience, you really don't have to show up SUPER early to have an AMAZING spot.
