Gig in 2014 at Eden Project?
-
Space Dementia is dead.
-
Isn't that the fest where Billie Joe Armstrong had a huge on stage meltdown?
-
I only tend to listen to live versions of songs if they're really kick ass e.g. Butterflies from HAARP, Citizen from Wembley 2010 etc
-
i dont imagine the whole sets are performed with backing tracks, but i have read recently that dom h uses recorded drum tracks which are played in tandem with dom hitting the drums at the same time. this produces a fatter meatier sound.
I believe the drum tracks are trigged by Dom hitting the drums

Some people in The Killers convoy are claiming they've sold out. They have sold out GA and the Level 2 section, but not Level 5. But then those sections aren't exactly the most desirable of a stadium rock gig.
So they haven't sold it out then

I had a job interview with the guys who provide event staff to the Emirates (and Wembley), and one of them mentioned about having their operational calendar for next year through and only mentioned "2 nights of Muse" but also "2 nights of Green Day". So perhaps Green Day have an additional night held but Muse don't.

As long as any London dates are before the 24th May, I'm happy with that
-
God, I hope they don't announce any UK shows until January. I could put my student loan to good use, then.
Basically, this.
-
Millennium Stadium would be fantastic considering I'll be back home from uni at the time
-
I doubt Finsbury, as The Stone Roses are already doing it... Unless it's becoming the new big outdoor venue in London, over Hyde Park now?
Considering Live Nation have confirmed they won't be doing gigs at Hyde Park, I wouldn't be surprised
-
What about a big outdoor gig, e.g. Finsbury Park?
-
I have a feeling that considering how fast arena tickets went and depending on how well the album sells that we'll see a UK Stadium tour next year, perhaps even instead of festivals, encompassing London, Manchester, Cardiff and Glasgow/Edinburgh
-
Probably. Glastonbury, V Festival are the first coming to mindDo you think they will play at T in the park next year?
I'd be very very surprised if they did Glastonbury next year. T in the Park maybe, considering that they've repeated headliners recently. Personally, considering the only major fests they didn't do when touring The Resistance were Isle of Wight and V, they'll most likely be done this time round I think.

I would happily take a pair of Matt's undergarments.
-
The Resistance is actually an amazing album, it only gets so much hate because it's different to what Muse have done in the past.
-
I feel that you would all appreciate this photo
[spoiler=Huge Photo]

I'd like them to cover some Foo Fighters
-
btw love your av
Haha thanks xD

This might be a stupid question, but if I was at the barrier and had my phone in my pocket, do you think it'd get crushed? *just wanna be sure, it was expensive*
I've never been to a Muse gig, but I've been to some pretty rough ones and my phone has come out fine after every gig

As a tall person, I don't care if shorter people are pissed because they're behind me. There's a thing called queuing, do it and you may just get in front of me!
-
However I did have a guy that tried to edge his way by putting his hand on the barrier and after a couple of times I gently put my elbow on his hand and shifted my whole weight on there - no need to say he took his hand off pretty quickly
Something similar happened when I saw Lily Allen ( ) in December, a 12 year old girl who didn't look old enough to be in the standing area kept trying to put her hand on the barrier and me being a large-ish (as in tall and slightly fat ) 16 year old boy, I promptly tried to crush her hand with my elbow and she soon gave up after myself and someone else shouted at her!
But back on topic, I think me and my girlfriend will brave Matt's side, we think she can cope with it haha. We've already agreed if she gets pulled out, I don't go with her
-
Go to the back of the golden circle (if you can) there's loads of space there. Wembley are the only Muse gigs I've had roughness with really
I meant at the front haha. I don't mind getting bruised and battered at gigs but she does a bit
Speculation on future gigs/tours

If the small clubs thing is true, it fits in with something one of my managers said to me a few weeks back. I work at a venue Muse have played before.
