heres my band just playing at a local open mic night, its not a muse cover, its coldplay, but there isn't a Youtube Covers thread so I thought this would be appropriate!
Please comment and rate!

are there any sticks that arent made of wood? i thought a pair of hollow metal sticks would be cool
but wouldn't they vibrate loads?
-
wut r screw blak stiks?
-
Not true. I've been using them for years, and neither my wrists nor my cymbals have taken any damage.
joey jordison sig sticks displease my drums, and my fingerz
-
Colourful?! I have no idea which sticks you mean, but i wanna know!
Im talking about them black ones made of fucking steel or something. Metallicas and Slipknots drummers use them.
Joey Jordison of Slipknot has his own sig sticks, Lars Ulrich also has very similar sticks but are a different size. I bought them like 4 years ago and they made my drums cry
-
warning, the insane sheep vibrato noise was not meant to be on that recording, we keeping that in jon lol?
-
Before you book one, my band (spyglass) yours and Aura should probably try and sort something out, playing together wise. It would work, and be quite cool at the same time.
im up for that!
-
lol adam that first post sounded like those annoying television marketing ads that go on for an hour, but I was very much convinced I will see if a load of my mates want to come with me for a general piss up and good music!
-
could be an iTouch or an iPhone or any phone he may use instead of a standard ipod for his mp3 filez. Its probably just a random video uploaded simply because its weird.

aaaaaah.
thats classic. thanks babe
THTS OK CI... I MEAN MILKYBAR

Fag, just laugh at something if it's funny, doesn't matter it's not like YOU killed them all.
ok, but i didnt laugh. Whats the difference between 500 dead babies and a ferrarri?
i dont have a ferrarri in my garage
-
I would personally say too far, and I am not a jew neither do i know of any jewish people.
i find dead baby jokes funny, but I can never laugh the same way about genocide for some reason.

i think lenny kravitz drummer has the nicest kit ive seen. Ludwig clear vistallite with solid gold hardware. The whole band has gold mics, amps, pianos and even his pickguards gold ffs lol
-
he must be talking about the ZXT Titanium series, which are okay, if your a rich beginner or a cheap ass pro.
-
OK.
I decided, I know I can get a good sound out of decent acrylic drums. I love playing drums. And as much as I love playing drums, I also love the look of drums. Its not because I want to "look like dom". I simply love them, and I dont care what anyone thinks, its not your money so please don't dig at me.
Kirchhoff Drums. - I read an article, and I found them by chance on Thomann. Apparently Tama and Sonor have taken their ideas from this brand. They are said to sound amazing and ive checked out sound clips online. The drums are nowhere near as expensive as Tamas Starclassic Mirage, and its easier to customise a kit online for cheaper.
heres the spec kit I wanted to get.
14.5 x 5.5 Snare
12 x 9 Tom
14 x 14 Tom
16 x 16 Tom
22" Bass Drum
The hardware is not supplied as I am buying all of the drums seperately, so I was thinking of Gibraltar or Tama hardware. I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this make of drums? The spec above will cost me roughly £1200 P+P.
Heres a link to an article on Drummer's Digest:

And Heres a link to an audio sample of the kit:

its obviously alot of money, so sorry for repeating myself but I wanted to make sure that its worth it 100%. THANKS!
-
strangely enough, I did :s
-
it didnt sound like muse atall
was alright tho.
-
how the hell can you drummers be playing a normal beat (example stralight verses) and tap the hi hats pedal with the other foot? it's driving me mad
its easy. Its the same with playing any beat. You have to teach your brain to let you coordinate your body to do seperate things n st00f.
-
the only thing that pisses me off about double bass pedals, is the pedal itself. It takes up to much space. I like the hi hat pedal and the hi hats really close to the snare, its like 4 metres away with a double bass pedal They are good however for building up your co ordinance.
