    The effect will vary depending where you are... the patterns on the back wall are nice...

     

    Yeah, I found I didn't really pay much attention to the lasers until Undisclosed Desires and I actually turned around to look at the pretty lights. :) I was near the bar though. I guess if someone really wanted to look at the full stage effects, they wouldn't want to be right up near the stage.

    I'm 5'4", so shortish. And I'd definitely like to be able to jump around and be as close to the band as possible. As long as I can hear the music and see (to some extent) the band, I'll be happy.

     

    I'm 5'4" also and I just move around if someone gets in the way of my view. :)

    Lots of great tips! :D

     

    I'm one of those peeps that is claustrophobic. If I'm near the front and the crowd gets too much, I just move back a bit. I tend to hang to the sides also, just somewhere that I can move if it gets too tight for me, but I love being on the floor. :)

     

    I'm always surprised when I go to a show and there are people wearing flip-flops in the pit.

     

    I wouldn't wear loose jewelry of any kind.

    I didn't hear Muse, but Muse was mentioned on FUSE's The Top 40 of 2008 countdown show. One of the commentators said her prediction for 2009 was that Matt Bellamy wouldn't be able to walk down the streets of Ny City without being recognized and would become the biggest band in the world.

    MTV just played KoC as Will Smith got up to accept his movie award.

     

    haha, I was just going to post that :)

     

    It was also a nice surprise to see them on an old episode of Jools Holland. The channel Ovation was airing old episodes and they aired the 2001 episode, of course it was edited for commercials, so they only had time to air "Feeling Good." It was fun to see it on tv and not just on the computer.

    Was in a grocery store here earlier, Food Lion, and "Starlight" was playing. I was pleasantly surprised. I've never heard Muse in a grocery store before. lol I don't know who chooses the playlist for Food Lion, but I was also surprised to hear Rufus Wainwright the other day.
