    hmmm long time no post... anyway guys do you like THURSDAY? umm they are coming here on the 30th in A-Venue in Makati with Typecats, Chicosci, Angulo, April Morning Skies

    and on the 31st in Kaogma Festival in Camarines Sur, tickets P1,000 only!!!!

    just wanna share this coz i really like them... and im still convincing some friends to come with me... see you there!!!

    Um.

     

    Being "indie" and hating the "mainstream" is so mainstream, it's not funny. Being individualistic and unique is the "in" thing nowadays. Hahahahahaha, what an ironic age we live in.

    I'm not trying to be indie or mainstream or whatever, just stating the facts. Muse is neither indie nor mainstream. They have mainstream hits (TiRO and Starlight) but they're not mainstream. Beyonce and Avril are however, since alot of what they do (be it in music or out) appeals to the masses.

     

    -2 cents.

     

    being mainstream is not the fault of the artist themselves, they are owned or lets just say "products" or "talents" of the company who employs them, the company decides if the artist could sell out by being mainstream, because certain artist have "charisma" in them that everything they do turns into money and thats exactly what the company wants... artist are being told by their employer what to do, and thats why some artist tends to go indie.. my opinion...

    Ang nakakalungkot dito nili-link nila sa ibang SEA countries at Abu Sayyaf, sira na naman ang image natin nito. Expect another travel advisory from Australia, US and UK.

    But we're not the only Muser in the country are we :p And besides, the people who will sign up for it are those who know Muse. In Shepherds Bush[not Earls Court :$] they held a competition but due to our "limited" fans they are better to join a festival or small venues gig.

     

    Haha. Kung may free gig sila dito, humanda tayo na makakakita tayo ng non-Musers sa line. Ang mga Pinoy talaga, basta sabihin mo free, mabenta na! :D

     

     

    being a selfish muser again, i have a proposal what if small venue like PICC Hall or Music Museum nga pero gawin nilang expensive ung tickets like maybe 5K or something like that, para ung dedicated Musers lang talaga ung makakapasok...(damn im so selfish, hahaha :D)

    Hey azztro, if your wondering, Muse has a 89% chance of going to Bangkok(Last gig of the year from Matt) so there is a high chance for us again! w00t :happy:

     

    ah talaga... thanks for the update... but i wonder when kse malapit na holiday season, well maybe early next year

     

    Nakakatuwa naman na umabot sa 40++ pages 'tong thread na 'to. Nung unang nagpost kami ni Les dito sa thread nung 2004, inabot pa ng isang taon bago mapuno yung isang page.

     

    Mahirap na i-maintain ang Muse obsession kapag majors ka na sa college.

     

    Kung nagkaconcert man sila dito...san kaya nila gagawin? Naalala ko nung nagkarumor na magkakaroon nung August, sa Araneta daw, tapos biglang sa CCP Open Field (haaay Incubus concert memories) na tinatayuan na ata ngayon ng kung anong gusali.

     

    Ngaaak, kung may seats man, yung mga sponsor papapakin lahat nung front/patron seats/1st to 20th rows tapos ibibigay lang nila sa mga artistang walang kaalam-alam sa Muse...as usual. T_T

     

    Sa totoo lang...maganda mang isipin na magconcert sila dito, malabo sigurong mangyari yun. Iba yung dating ng Muse sa "general taste" ng mga Pinoy sa musika eh. Oo maririnig mo na yung 'Starlight' sa loob ng FX at pamprobinsyang bus ngayon, pero sa tagal ng panahon na gumagawa sila ng musika kinailangan pa ng makesong kanta para lang makilala sila dito. Kung baga, kahit marami rami na rin ang nakakakilala sa Muse, karamihan sa kanila, yung Starlight na side lang yung nakikita nila sa banda. Kaunti lang dito ang nakakaappreciate talaga sa kanila.

     

     

    well nice to hear from you again paraluman... anyway may point ka nga about pinoy music taste which is predominantly about novelty songs ang "pop-starstuck-starcircle-pbb-etc" music... which is kinda sad kse theres no room for improvement for other artist na nakikiride na lang sa mga "USO" sounds pra makabenta, like Spongcola i like them dati pro ngayon nagiba na ang tingin ko sa kanila.. anyway as long na meron p rin nmn na mga tao na ibaba ang pananaw sa musikang pinoy i think we will survive, and some "N.U. Bands" are working hard to be recognize abroad... and they have my support and i hope yours too...

     

    about sa "popularity" ng MUSE d2, i dont wanna be selfish pro i like it like this na wla masyado nakakaalam sa kanila, and those na nakakakilala naman sa kanila i think its a privilege and honor to know such band... kse those who know MUSE i think have a 'breed" na pde mong ipagmalaki, unlike those casual listeners lang masabi lang na kilala nila ang MUSE.. i hope you get my point :p

     

    Dapat itayo ang bandila ng pinoy para alam nilang may muser sa pilipinas. :D Pwede na nga itong gawing sticky eh hehehe

     

    Totoo lahat ng sinabi mo paraluman, una na kasi dyan na hindi tayo updated sa foreign music, ay updated pala pero sa mga pop nga lang. Kahit nga sa mga english speaking radio station madalang patugtugin ang kanta ng Muse :(

     

    Pero sana magkaron pa rin sila ng concert dito kahit sa maliit na venue lang, malamang nami-miss din nila ang maliliit na venues. Pffft madaya nga mga sponsors dito, naku malamang seated pa yan eh, ang baduy.

     

    I still feel sad about the news :(

     

    yeah i think masa maganda nga kung bar or small venue lang ang concerts nila d2... para naman hndi masyado magulo at makilala mo ung talagang hard core fans at mga "POSERO" na nag-gagaling galingan lang...

    Mangarap pa tayo dun sa Argentina. For all I know, they'll stop touring by the end of November.

     

    i really think they should stop touring for now, or else they'll be burned out from all that touring, although they enjoy but still they have family and stuff.. but i do hope they start touring agsin early next year and stop by hir sa pinas

     

    About the Argentina + MSG = US Tour. :$

     

    hmmm another US tour? that f***ing unfair:(!!!

    Copies of Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry, and Hullabaloo Soundtrack can be found at Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street(The new area beside Serendra and Market Market), Fort Bonifacio.

    A copy is at a hefty price of 700 pesos(699, to be exact :p)

    Mahal sya. Daig mo pa bumili sa top 40 nyan. Just get a white paint and black shirt, that'll do.

     

    eh wala ako magagawa kse pasadya un gagawin and besides im desperate n talaga eh, hahah

     

    Pwede rin siguro pero hindi ka makakagawa ng straight line with spray unless na hindi ka pa pasmado. Meron murang paint na nabibili, nakalagay sa maliit na lata. Ang tanong hindi ba tayo makakasuhan ng Muse Management kapag gumawa tayo ng sariling shirt with logo?

    Azztro, how much is that person charging you?

     

    P550, i dont know if thats cheap or not but for me its quite expensive for a simple muse print in the shirt.. but he's given me the option for an intricate design, pra nmn hndi daw sayang kya nag iisip pa ko kung what design ti use, but i have an idea now.. but im not sure when he will start doing that cuz we still havent had the chance to talk personally cuz he's in bulacan and im in manila, we just text..
