    Square drums have equal diameter and depth eg 14x14 or 16x16.

     

    ah ok...what do you think I should put then?

    Put where? There is no general, he has used differently sized toms and kick on every kit.

     

    doesnt matter. I thought they were the same since he started using the starclassic, had never noticed any difference.

    The chrome kit had 14x12 and 16x13. The acrylic ones are 14x12 and 16x14. He's used square floors in the past, too.

     

    ah ok...what do you think I should put then? for general. What are square floors? ( sorry, it's hard for me in english )

    Pardon me, could someone tell me the size of Dom's new floor tom please?!

    He has two in 14x12 and 16x14.

    by the way...the one you said it's in 16X14 is a 16x13! (that if he hasn't changed) Doesn't make much difference...but oh well.

    La Musicale, when he starts with the snare part! I'm terrible in explaining this because english is not my birth language! If you download La Musicale you can clearly see all drumsline for this song! :) And it's very repetitive...but i love playing it...

    aaw too bad! though i know they're not fabricating the HP900 anymore.

    Huhwhat? The 900 series is the Iron Cobras, everything else is regular Tama hardware.

    well, the performance was a playback apart from the vocals which were live (i presume).

     

    but yeah, why use silencers if the drums are live?

     

    half playback yeah, the vocals were live.The drums weren't live as well as the keys, bass and guitar.

    Yeah - it IS his 18" - its cuz he's left handed that ur getting confuzzled. I have 18" and 19" A custom crashes set up in the same position as him but in reverse (cuz i am RIGHT handed) and the 18" is above the hats* and the 19" above the ride*

    (*roughly - just to give positioning)

     

    Thanks man...you're probably right! Im right handed but lately, when im not in the studio, i've been often finding myself "air-playing" like a left handed :$ i have to stop watching those muse videos!!! :erm:

     

    He is rather rude isnt he - however Crazybob has come and given him a warning and his attitude has changed for the better.

    u sure? i searched everywhere (counting zildjian website) and it all says it's a 19" piece. always thought the K custom on the right was the 18".

     

    Is Dom still using Zildjian cymbals?? cuz on the video of map of the problematique, the hi-hat he's using is different from the one he's used to.I noticed the crash was different as well..not sure though.

     

    Yes, he is. Zildjian make more that one type of hihat. In video clips he often uses all Avedis cymbals.

    He's using acrylic drums now. But with EQ you can make the drum sound unrecognizable.

    the black thing on it...i wonder whether it's his or not...if it's to improve the sound or something (i dont know) cuz of that "depeche mode" drums on map of the problematique..will he use it live?? i really dont know...:confused:
