lachlan
You'll probably have to be really bored to do it, but anyway. Ok so you just go through all the different keys that there are (or as many as you feel up to), and choose your favourite Muse song that is in that key. We can be pretty lenient with the keys. Ignore stuff like how Hysteria is goes from A minor to C major in the chorus and just say its in A minor. And how Stockholm Syndrome starts in the 5th mode of G minor and then goes to D minor and then goes into F major and moves all around, and just say its in D. And forget about majors and minors. Invincible is in C major and MOTP is in C minor, but lets just say they're both in C. I'll start: C: Falling Away With You. C#: Dunno any. D: Stockholm Syndrome. D#: Dunno. E: KOC or Space Dementia. F: Ruled By Secrecy. F#: Apocalypse Please or Futurism can't decide. G: Hyper Chondriac Music. G#: Glorious. A: Citizen Erased. A#: Blackout. B: Starlight. Well that took a long time. Now lets see if anyone else can be bothered.

Wishmaster
(what's the main key for Plug In Baby, btw? there's too many mode changes, LoL) The song revolves around a cycle of F#, G, and D, with the D being substituted for Bm in the chorus. Having said that I think it's in the key of Bm. Interesting though, anyone else?

Nimpo46
I think we should have a "BEST MUSE SONG BY THIRD LETTER, GO BACK ONE, THEN FORWARD TWO, THEN OPPOSITE PLACE IN ALPHABET, OF NAME THREAD"

D Major it is... yet Bm is the relative minor to D major... the chorus is B minor, everything else is D major so D Major also Fury is in A minor

Niall
I think we should have a "BEST MUSE SONG BY THIRD LETTER, GO BACK ONE, THEN FORWARD TWO, THEN OPPOSITE PLACE IN ALPHABET, OF NAME THREAD" These are the kind of inter-album threads you can expect up until March next year when they play a new song. Then you can expect a torrent of threads speculating about the new songs being the next single and unlikely rumours about album titles for a year or so. ...It's great fun... russian1
how do you figure out the key if the song has so many chord changes? i can never figure this out
haze015
Hysteria would be Amin throughout as Cmaj is part of Amin and the 'chords' in the chorus are 5ths, so never really goes truly into Cmaj, even though both are pretty much the same thing. PIB is Bmin. Never Dmaj.
andrew1900
I wish I can tell keys from different songs, and look all musically intelligent:( however, i do like the last key/tone/note/whateveritis in take a bow, right after sinnnnnnsssssssss I always make sure I put the volume up for that one part
paraluman
I'll try to give this a shot, with my limited piano education and my not-so-perfect perfect pitch. Took me around 15 minutes and a lot of humming to myself. C: Bliss, Falling Away With You, Undisclosed Desires C#: Falling Down? D: Butterflies & Hurricanes, Stockholm Syndrome, Sing for Absolution Eb: United States of Eurasia E: Space Dementia, Knights of Cydonia F: Ruled By Secrecy F#: Apocalypse Please, Muscle Museum G: Screenager, Feeling Good G#: I have no idea, so I'll just go with what the first poster said: Glorious! A: Hysteria, Endlessly Bb: Blackout B: Starlight Correct me if I got anything wrong.
mbnemechek
I LOVE THIS THREAD. I'm very interested in color music. Muse has inspired me to learn about music and color because i believe it's how he makes everything so perfectly balanced, i can see a rainbow in his voice really... and i'm glad you guys put it in the keys so i can tell them main color of the song. I've always wanted to do this! <333 ty
