Seaking
I'm currently doing a guitar cover of Space Dementia (the whole song, not just the outro) unusual idea i know, and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas fr the verse, as just strumming the chords doesnt seem good enough, is there perhaps a tab that can correctly "translate" the feel of the way it's played on piano to guitar? There is one on UG. I remember playing around with the idea a while ago.
Dominic.
I'll let MFC the expert explain how
xtinction
oh god! please not sweeping! :'( me and sweeping do not get on. at all. and yeah i found that tab on UG but I don't like the idea of just strumming those chords, i mean, when played on the piano it isn't just chords is it? there's a little something extra going on in there.. Dominic.
Anyone ever get a tab for the chorus of MK Ultra? As in a decent tab
Phill
I'd like that too. Though I have no octaver for riff.
Dominic.
I have what I think is accurate for the first chorus but the one towards the end, the second part if you know what I mean I don't know and am too lazy to work out
kueller
I just used the chords from the tab book. Sounded close enough.
xtinction
sorry if this isn't exactly the right place for this but I'm in a rush so: Does anyone have a backing track for Map of the Problematique (bass, drums, keyboard and vocals) I need it for tonight, the site I usually get my backing tracks from has nothing and I don't know how to remove the guitar from a song to make my own backing track, any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh and this isn't essential but one for supremacy would be great too.. Edited March 7, 2013 by xtinction
elephantcollector
Does anyone have a decent tab for the live solo of Butterflies & Hurricanes? the tabs I've looked at for it on UG seem wrong as there is tremolo picking throughout the solo and in the UG tabs it says there's no tremolo picking, and some of the notes just feel wrong

eivdjo
Anyone know what Matt is playing at the end in this one? In stead of the ending riff. Around 4:10 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiUE9-OG_CQ Sounds like a C chord or something like B--13 G--12 D--(14)?
james90
i'm pretty sure he's just bending the G and B strings on the 12th fret
Dillyracer
Anyone has a tab for the verse of Hangin Tree from QOTSA? I can piece together the rest by ear and from live footage, except for the verse.
Dominic.
Don't have my guitar but won't take long I imagine for anyone to work out, it's two chords. 1:25 qI3c70-fs4U

Seaking
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtjjxt_rgu8 Can someone tab out the main riff (or the entire song if you are feeling generous but I really only need the main riff)?
elephantcollector
Could somebody please try and tab the riff on this video? (4:26 - 4:47)
xtinction
So, I've been learning Invincible lately, and parts of it confuse me, or rather, the tabs do: 1. In the 2nd verse, is it just power chords? One tab says so, and the only decent cover of the song on Youtube does too (I think) 2. The 2nd chorus, the chords that the tabs indicate seem impossible to form: E|-----------8---------| |-----------10--------| B|-----10--10-10---| |-----12--12--12---| G|---10--10-----10-| |---12--12------12-| D|-10-----------------| |-12------------------| A|---------------------| |-----------------------| E|---------------------| |-----------------------| Is it just me, or are those chords not fingerable (Yes, that's totally a word ) by regular human hands? kueller
I can play them.
xtinction
So it's just me then >.< I just find my 2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers get squished a lot when forming those chords, so much so it's damn near impossible to form them in time, do you finger them like this? (from e to d) 1st finger, 2nd finger, 3rd finger, 4th finger?
eivdjo
Use your index finger on the 8th fret and bar the ring finger across the three other notes. Or use your three remaining fingers on each separate note. Its just an F and a G chord played without the root on the A string
