I don't know if that deserves to be called 'equipment'.

Here's a money saving tip, if you replace the bearing from a flush cut bit with the smaller bearing from a 45* or similar bit then you're good to go.

Assuming that the difference in the bearings outer diameter is equal to the thickness of the binding he want. I pick the binding thickness first and then machine for that.

This is true. It does depend on the thickness of the binding you're using.

 

I don't expect him to go cutting the guitar up until he's tested it.

Definitely had to make the body longer. It was a touch more than the cost of parts... It was 4 years ago or so, I forgot how much. I'd say a hundred or so above cost of parts. I hand delivered it in Glasgow.
