jackparker
Ok, so this thread is for anyone who would like to post their IDEAL Muse stage (e.g. pillars, pyramid etc.) So basically tell us what you think YOUR ideal muse stage should look like! You can have more than one, i'll start: Stadium: In the middle of the Stadium is a circular stage with not much on it (lights, dom's drumkit in the middle, microphone either end and and a piano). In a triangular like formation by the seating, are 3 pillars. one in the middle of a stand and 2 in the opposite corners of the stadium. They have the same function as the normal arena pillars, and when the band get lowered from the pillars, there is a connecting catwalk around the edge by the seating, and from one of the pillars (the middle one), is a single catwalk towards the circular stage in the middle of the pitch. Through the whole gig the pillars animate and show stuff. The crowd are all around the circle stage on either side, with more people in the seats. i quite like the idea, now what ideas can you come up with??? P.S - Please don't bash the thread, I wanna see some fun ideas!
WutDaFucksy
Arena: 2 large screens on either side Some lights
Frakkles
A stage, two microphones, a drum kit, one guitar, one bass. No need for screens or lights.
Clunge
- Small venue (up to about 2,500 people). - Guitar, Piano, Drums and Bass. - Plenty of lights. - One main central backing screen. - LOUD. Nout more required.
Zaphod Chizzlebrox
Let's just have the Absolution Tour stage back, that was pretty much as good as it could be.
Carbo
Neon lights and simple, not too bombastic. Sort of like Celldweller.
Pip
I loved the Abso tour stage set, saw it twice. Perfect.
Hat
As much lights and screens as possible. They should all stand in a kind of cage each, that will be covered in screens. Every song will have a certain video running and special effects and lights. They can have like 25 songs prepared so that they can rotate a song or two once in a while. The songs isn't really that important though.
lukester911
The absolution stage was the best one overall (I'd count the towers in at a close second, fact being the piano has to be wheeled on and silly things like that) It just seemed so clean, it wasn't overdone in the screens department (from what I can remember at least) and it helped the band focus on playing rather than flashy showmanship. forevermusic
It depends what one is in the mood for. Sometimes one would prefer a simple stage with a couple of lights and maybe a video screen in a smaller venue - like small club up to Brixton and possibly the smaller arenas. And sometimes one would prefer a massive show in an arena or stadium with the showmanship, the glitz, the fancy lights and the video screens the size of a few buses. naomithegreat
I love the absolution set as well. However, I've always wondered how cool it would be for them to do a 360 stage, a la U2.

They do - some Resistance Tour concerts (like the O2 ones) have 360 configurations. But it would be cool to see them doing a 360 stadium tour. a-museing
Venue that's with 200 capacity with a few screens and basic lighting. Or else I'd like to see one of their stadium shows.

Carbo
Screens in a 200 capacity venue? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MetbQkqzAGA 200 capacity venue is extremely rare though, and venues like those are mostly secret/private shows like the one NIN did during the Year Zero viral. Even the most obscure bands usually play at venues that are atleast 700 which are pretty much just clubs, so that's an odd and for the most of the part not recommended number to do. Especially considering this is Muse we're talking about.
