hunterrunfarm
Apparently RHCP will be at Summer Sonic in Japan for Lolla weekend so I bet they'll do ACL. Foo Fighters and Muse at Lolla, RHCP at ACL. And who knows who else! so the RHCP are out for lolla But it'll be amazing if we get Muse and Foos:D
Llama of Time
Stupid hypothetical question out of curiosity Would there by anyone you guys would see over Muse if Lolla did something stupid and scheduled someone amazing at the same time? And I mean headliner level artists that you would. and im not talking someone likely to play, I just mean any headliner quality artist they could realistically get even if they won't get them

For the type of bands Lolla gets, there's no one I would pick over Muse.
Llama of Time
Answer - no. For the type of bands Lolla gets, there's no one I would pick over Muse. Theres a few I'd see. Daft Punk, Radiohead. If I didn't have another chance to see them I'd go Arcade Fire too, but I probably would have another chance so I dont know in that case. And not they would get him but I'd definitely see Paul McCartney because I doubt I'd ever get another chance and I want to see him so badly. Other than that I can't really think of anyone. Daft Punk and Paul McCartney would just be rare/hard to see otherwise and Radiohead is just...Radiohead

And since GD was there last year, there's nothing to worry about for August. Yeah, Paul McCartney at the same time would be , just for the limited opportunity issue. Bailey Essrog
Woah, Muse at Lolla-Chile would be amazing! They'd probably bang out some ridiculous set lists down there, and the South American festival crowd is guaranteed to be silly wild. I think I'd be more excited about a Lolla-Chicago appearance if there was any indication we'd get a fresh set list. By next year, it technically wouldn't be the Resistance Tour anymore, yes? On the other hand, Dom's comments about us American'ts knowing jack shit aren't encouraging.

If Coldplay played at the same time as Muse, I'd be very sad to miss Coldplay, but I'd pick Muse. That's the only modern artist I can think of where I'd be torn, personally. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of other bands I'd love to see, but Muse is on another level for me. To be honest none of the really big acts out there are that appealing to me ... I'd kind of like to see Lady Gaga but wouldn't pay a ton or go out of my way. Other than Muse and Coldplay, most of the bands I'd most like to see are smaller acts, I guess. There is only one other band in the entire world that I love as much as Muse and that's Led Zeppelin. I think there is a better chance of monkey's flying out of my arse than LZ playing anything, so I think I'm safe. Woah, Muse at Lolla-Chile would be amazing! One reason I am so excited about Lolla is because it won't be The Resistance tour anymore, just a band whose on a break coming together to rock out. I think anything is fair game. Sure, they will probably play a lot of TR songs because it's what they are used to playing from the tour, but I don't think it will be their main focus. And I think Dom's comments were taken out of context. They don't honestly believe that all American's are like that. I think the AMA win proves that. Just my $.02. You know what happened last time this was the case (2008)? They churned out Fury, Megalomania, Space Dementia and Dead Star at the Royal Albert Hall (first two), Marlay Park and the V Festival (last two) and I was lucky enough to be at all three! First off, if we got Dead Star...*shudders* Second, I used to think that America gets nothing but at MSG I got MK and at Prudential I got CE. As for is being in the U.S., I think the band may be catching on to the fact that we like the same older stuff as the rest of the world. They had to notice the reaction of the crowd to Citizen Erased at The Pru. I really hope the non-tour theory is true. I'd love to see the same old show, but I'd really go nuts if I could hear some of the above-mentioned material. Though I think if they do SD, I may actually faint.
