New Born Lee Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 *has heart attack when Matt's voice goes mental in Agiatated*
XxsnowflakesxX Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 *bends down and kisses your feet* THANK YOU!!! *downloads everything* Lol you're welcome.
U-Mos Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 *also thanks snowflakes for B-Sides* Ah, m4a files, my old arch-enemies...
XxsnowflakesxX Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Do yourself a favour and don't bother with the Supermassive Black Hole Phones Control Voltage Mix (7 Edit). Now that is rape.
New Born Lee Posted August 4, 2007 Posted August 4, 2007 Do yourself a favour and don't bother with the Supermassive Black Hole Phones Control Voltage Mix (7 Edit). Now that is rape. You're a little late. I didn't download that, but I downloaded the New Born mix. It went a bit like this: boom tish boom tish...yeah...yeah...hmm...1 minute gone...no...is this it?...oh...wait...there's the song...but it's just slightly slower...and...*turns off Ipod*
spaceygal Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Not a favourite song of mine, although I did like it enough to buy the single at the time. But then again I buy everything by Muse anyway, so I guess that's not saying much!! Lol. I probably prefer In Your World more (brilliant song), although I do like Dead Star. It's just not in my top ten of fave Muse tracks.
lostkiwibird Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 If I was forced at gunpoint to name my favourite Muse song, because its bloody hard to choose, i'd say Dead Star. Its orgasmic and always makes me jump around like a loon. I'd sell my mother to hear it live.
Pandaloo Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Deadstar is an awesome-o song, probably not my top favourite (i dont know what is!) but it's definatly up there!
SamWindsor Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I think dead star is one of muses greatest song, that riff and the drum and bass parts in the verse are truely IMMENSE!!!!! its a shame it wasnt on an album rele! anyone who disparages this song doesnt truely understand what theyre saying!
WutDaFucksy Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 would i nice person like to upload as i havent got ive got the hullabaloo live one but i want studio
Yus Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 Before I knew anything about Muse (I just listened to Absolution and OoS but I didn't know ANYTHING about them) I thought Dead Star was the first track on OoS, because the person who copied the disc for me accidentally gave me Dead Star too, as the first track. I thought it was a great entry for an album, only to be dissapointed a bit later when I found out that New Born was actually the first track. Anyway yeah, it's a good song, but not mindblowingly amazing. They should play it more live though. Kick out Invincible and put Dead Star in any day.
Clunge Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 OoS would have been even better with Dead Star as the opening track.
WutDaFucksy Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I thought it was a great entry for an album, only to be dissapointed a bit later when I found out that New Born was actually the first track. both those songs are great openers i say put Dead Star in for TaB and send KoC to the back
Socks and a Phone Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 If I was forced at gunpoint to name my favourite Muse song, because its bloody hard to choose, i'd say Dead Star. Its orgasmic and always makes me jump around like a loon. I'd sell my mother to hear it live. I'd buy her.
NobodyCanWin Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I love you!! [to whoever posted the b-sides site] Dead Star is awesome... *that* guitar riff, makes me want to turn it up and just go mental everytime I've only heard the live version so far though. Agitated, just WOW.
no3chris Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 youre forgetting deadstar was quite regular.. in its day, maybe would come back randomly at somepoint but nothing more than that now

XxsnowflakesxX Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 has anybody ever made a Dead Star remix? I don't think so I've only seen an instrumental version of Dead Star on muselive and thats about it. Someone might've made a fan remix of it.
Tr00jg Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Dead Star is awesome! I loved it... My current fav Muse song.
parklife Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 i love Dead Star, really heavy intro. i might make a fan remix of it. but i don't think aduacity is quite cut for that.
parklife Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 does anyone know any free remixing software. I've got the dead star instrumental, i just need a vocals rip of it
LTM Posted August 13, 2007 Posted August 13, 2007 Dead Star is amazing. Definitely their hardest song (imo). It rapes my arse.
