Editors Notes:

Multicamera angle edit by myself built up all from HD footage. Some footage used to create this project is high definition youtube rips (with the tapers permission, the rest being the original recordings provided by the tapers on disk). The quality has been slightly upscaled and when played back on a TV is sharp without any pixelation.

Audio for this DVD was supplied by crowbi_wan.

A big thankyou to all footage donaters, the footage is brilliant.

Thankyou to Dee3Dee for exclusively allowing his soundcheck footage to be feature on the DVD, Agenthal for editing the highlights from the 10th (which is in the bonus features section), and Benit for the fantastic cover art for the DVD.

I've had a few minor problems with the menu with not being able to get the chapter marks right (the dvd authorer I use dousent seem to do it correctly for some reason) but apart from that, its an animated menu.

This DVD has been edited by myself solely for Muse fans to enjoy, and is not to be bought or sold. This DVD is FREE to all.

Also, I've completed yet another two multiangle DVDs.. Teignmouth (1st night) and Casino de Paris. Im going to forward those next week so you can enjoy this DVD first.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas

The full resolution DVD cover will also be with the torrent for you to print and make your own cover. So all being well, the dvd should be up by tuesday (a big thankyou to paul for uploading it)

I just want to add that because of the original HD files being so big which I used to edit, some uploaders had asked to rip the vids in HD from their channels to edit with. Others who were able to, sent their footage over on disks. I have no problems with the quality watching it back on tv but I know some are particular about the original HD vids only being used.. so just wanted to outline that in advance.

Thank you very much Liam, you make a very hard work for all this DVD and I (and I hope all the others fans) were very recognizing for this job, you are a formidable guy !!!! Thank you for all, the witing is very justified, I will regale myself by looking at all these fabulous DVD, what a lovely present for a Christmas in advance !!!! (sorry my english is not better, I would have so much other things to say ;))

Thank you Laure, you're too nice with me ;)

really really really appreciate the vid but what's the justification for the fade transitions?

Muse should all be hard cuts except for the very soft songs like ruled by secrecy or soldier's poem

As long as the footage isn't shaky, fading can be really, really good. In fact, not fading can look really awkward. Really depends on the footage and part of the song, etc. So suck it, a mix of both is the way to go. :phu:

Also, what is this new emoticon????!!!!! :doobie:

You've got it backwards missy. Fading in a Muse concert during the heavy riff part of CE looks awkward. I never said fading is unacceptable, I said it's appropriate for the right song. The ending of CE would be a better place to use it.

^ Definitely. It all depends on the song and the types of shots your going between. With UD fading can work very well. Watch HAARP and there's plenty of fading in that DVD. Excellent work man.

Find me a fade in Wembley mid song. I know the people who edited HAARP aren't inexperienced enough to stick a fade with all the footage they have for a high end client like Muse, it's too distracting.

Even where I thought there would be some fades during Unintended there is NONE. Not in Blackout either.

There are long shots, pan shots, zoom shots and the odd focus effect here and there. They've used these shots to match with the tempo of the song. Trust me, there aren't "plenty of fades".

Yeah, but we're not working with clean HQ footage like HAARP, so fading is necessary to make some clips look less choppy. Shut up, you're not the one editing.

Love that you completely missed the point of what a fade is used for. You don't use a fade to make choppy clips less look choppy. I suggest you read up on some Video Editing 101 before you start acting like you know what you're talking about.

Besides it was a simple question directed to the editor with no harm intended, not you so get over yourself princess.

Again I'll say it, @mapoftheglorious, thanks for the videos!

...except it was pointed at me, because I'm the one who did that CE edit you saw and all the edits from the 10th that are on this DVD. So why don't you do some research on who edited what, princess?

Like I said, I think a mix is good. Trust me, if I added a crossfade in, it's because it looked crappy as hell without it. With this kind of footage, it's hard to make it look good and well-edited, so sometimes, while if I had had HQ footage I would rather have not used a crossfade because of the tempo of the song, etc., it looks way better with it. I'd like to see you try to make an edit look good with Youtube footage. And FU, my dad edits for a living.

I personally found the Uprising edit that someone else did with lots of fades in and out to be very enjoyable...When you're not working with pristine quality footage and where it's partly been taken by people who are jumping around, I think fades can be very effective...The music gets you into it enough, and sharp cuts can just hurt your eyes if you have to keep refocusing...It all depends on the song and the footage obviously...I love how basically every thread on this forum manages to descend into an argument of one form or another

Liam, will you post a direct link to the torrent on here when it's uploaded? Also can you explain a bit more about Nero or whatever we need to put the files on DVD? I've never used it before and I don't know if it's free to download or whatever, so any clarification before the DVD is completely available would be much appreciated =)
