AT
+1 The ammount of time they fill with riffs nowadays could be another song on the setlist. That's true, but at least the riffs are unpredictable and change mostly in every concert. I'd love to hear Minimum again!!!

dontask
there's abit in technical difficulties by paul gilbert where it goes into a riff I could very much see them using. but the point of these things is that they have to be very recognisable really. so I'd say- carry on my wayward son - kansas aqualung - jethro tull toxicity (the breakdown part) - SOAD date with the night - Yeah yeah yeah's
Minimal
I think riffs are cool but only if integrated into their songs properly. Nowadays some riffs feel disconnected, like New Born in Glasto 2010. It feels like they were playing it for the sake of playing it.

FearAndPanic
Here some riffs and outro's. Oh man, you're a genius, Muse should end their songs with the riffs of other Muse songs. Give it a week before the shameless self bumping?
Jobby
Helter Skelter - The Beatles (Use the outro riff after songs like Showbiz and Stockholm Syndrome) Icky Thump - The White Stripes (would go well after Hysteria IMO) Cannon - The White Stripes (could just be an interesting little jam every now and again) I Want You (She's So Heavy) - The Beatles (The outro riff could be used as a good closer for something)

GSMU7
N.I.B by Black Sabbath as intro to MK Ultra and Electric Funeral as the outro In the Flesh by Pink Floyd as an Intro to Knights of Cydonia Patterns & Bomb outro from Band of Skulls would be epic at the end of something. Floyd the Barber by Nirvana would be another good one Killing in the Name would be epic as would How i could just kill a Man and Bulls on Parade - Rage against the Machine Welcome to Paradise by Green Day would be pretty cool. Then guitar outro on Boulevard of Broken Dreams would be pretty good.
GSMU7
I Reckon Biffy Clyro - That Golden Rule, the riff near the end is amazing I was the thinking the same. That outro on the Live at Wembley dvd is amazing.
