I was listening to a concert of Muse in 2004 and was kind of confused that they were playing Psycho 😄!

05:27 - intro of Psycho - way ahead of it's time 😄!

Don't know if this already has been shared here somewhere, but I wanted to share it 😄!

I think I heard somewhere it’s apparently a riff from Showbiz (the album or era, I’m not sure 🤷🏻‍♀️). And the same with Reapers, too. I wonder just how many other riffs Matt has stashed away from the early days?

I must be old. When Drones came out the first thing anyone talked about was how the Psycho riff was actually the famous 0305030 riff they’d been jamming live for years. A lot of people kinda didn’t like how the riff was recycled iirc.

EDIT: just watched the video shared above, it goes as far back as '99. Amazing it took that long to make it into a song.

I'm struggling to find it but I'm 99% sure there is video footage as far back as 2001 for the riff being played live.
