Apocalyptic Gerbil
I don't know why but I just find it really lame. I used to like it but it annoys me like hell now!

HarmonyLover
Brilliant, especially the chords at the end. A powerful opening to a great album. It's another one of those openers that every rock band dreams they could write, but only the Muse could do...

Apocalyptic Gerbil
Why? It's certainly never played on the radio... I dunno, I just find the lyrics really cheesy and the song repetitive. I know it's never on the radio but I always skip it on Absolution. About 3 years ago it got me back into absolution but I quickly begun hating it! I don't find the lyrics cheesy at all - but I do recommend you let it lay fallow. I guarantee you will rediscover the awesomeness of it one day... Can't you tell he's singing ironically, probably mocking the "end of world" types you see on streets with their apocalyptic signs. Don't ever think Bellamy is always being straightforward! ArrowSmith
I just can't get over how epic this song is. I find myself playing it on repeat for hours at a time. I can never get tired of it, it's just too fucking epic!

liberty
Brilliant, especially the chords at the end. A powerful opening to a great album. The closing chords are my favorite part about it too. And pounding them out on the piano is fun.
