Chablar
Hey. I recently learnt invincible, and I was just wondering what kind of effect matt uses in the solo for it to get that wha kinda sound (if you get me). Is it a compressor? Thanks a lot:p
haze015
no, a compressor doesn't sound like a wah at all. what the hell made you think that? the invincible solo is just a digitech whammy, which is a pitchshifter and distortion, maybe some delay or reverb, can't remember. a compressor just limits the dynamic range (variation in volume) of whatever goes into it. Funguy
i've been learning the solo (learn the hard part first). only problem i have is tapping. i rarely do tap so i'm slowly learning to. and yeah it's a whammy with distortion.
the_man361
yup, just whammy and some normal distortion. Ol4WENkM-Hc
Imperium
yep, just a pitch shifter quality solo to play, took me a while to crack it, tapping is class best thing i found, is to watch others play it, easier than being confused by a tab

You should be able to stretch further if you just keep practicing stretching them to make it easier to play
Grinning Death
yeah if your fingers aren't used to stretching that far you'll just have to keep doing it slowly until they get used to it. If you can't play it properly slowly you'll have problems playing it fast.
