Micro Cuts and Citizen Erased switch places on the album. Although the album doesn't really have any flow problems so it can stay as is for all I care.

I don't mind Feeling Good on Origin.

The piano version of Screenager is far better. It's not even close. It is known.

All these combine to make Origin Muse's best album. BH&R second, Abso third.

Here's my order:

1. Origin

2. BH&R

3. Abso (close call though)

4. Hullabaloo (does it count?)

5. TR

6. T2L

7. Showbiz

That being said, I love them all pretty much about the same except origin, which I love more than life. That album is the best I've heard to date.

I think Absolution is still my fav to listen to personally. My last.fm thing has them in the order of the amount I've listened to them:

1. Absolution

2. BHAR

3.Origin

[these three are all really high]

4. T2L [which isn't far behind surprisingly]

5. TR

6. Showbiz

I always forget about Showbiz but it's nice rediscovering it after a while.

I want Screenager and Micro Cuts to switch place. And no, fuck that transition synth.

Never thought about that before, that could work really well actually.

New Born

Bliss

Space Dementia

Hyper Music

Plug In Baby

Futurism (I'd say Dead Star but that hadn't been made yet)

Citizen Erased (No siren/synth thing)

Screenager (Piano)

Micro Cuts

Dark Shines

Megalomania

:facemelt:

Replace Feeling Good with Dead Star and you have an 11/10 album. The order is otherwise perfect.

It fits perfectly after Darkshines and before Megalomania.

Nah, after Hyper Music.

The static noise between the songs fits perfectly.

I'd have to go with Absolution. For me, Darkshines is a blemish on an otherwise-perfect Origin Of Symmetry. It just goes ooooon and oooooon and...it bores me eventually. Absolution does not do this for me.

But in any case, not The Resistance or The 2nd Law. I wouldn't even spray my flower beds with those two great dollops of shitsauce.

I absolutely concur. I don't know what made Bellumghey think he could shit out two steaming piles of crap and then call them albums, but somehow they came into existence, and I really, really wish they hadn't.

I just hope the band won their bet with those two, for serious.

And in answer to the question, Origin of Symmetry, every time. It was their pinnacle, and I doubt they'll ever be that good again.
