Milky Joe
I'm not sure if Fury should have been on Absolution (as it is Muse's longest album anyway), but I think it deserved a bit more live action, as Muse barely played it after the album came out. Mozza
Absolution should be: 1.Intro 2.Apocalypse Please 3.Time Is Running Out 4.Sing For Absolution 5.Stockholm Syndrome 6.Hysteria 7.Endlessly 8.The Small Print 9.Blackout 10.Fury 11.Butterflies and Hurricanes (full length with additional guitars) 12.Falling Away With You 13.Ruled By Secrecy
Raiko
Hmm... I prefer FAWY in it's original place. It sets up Hysteria well. That and i'd put Fury after Butterflies & Hurricanes. But I agree generally that Fury should have been on the album.
Black Cherry
As some of you will know, on Absolution Dom and Chris voted to have The Small Print on the album instead of Fury, which was Matt's preferred choice (and is the Japanese bonus track). However I think Fury is a far superior track, and wondered what other people thought. I'm with you Fury's better, but that doesn't mean I have a problem with The Small Print. Kind of hard to see where Fury would fit in alongside the other tracks on Absolution seeing as I've heard the album soooooo many times it would be odd to imagine another or a different song in there somehow. U-Mos
Absolution should be: 1.Intro 2.Apocalypse Please 3.Time Is Running Out 4.Sing For Absolution 5.Stockholm Syndrome 6.Hysteria 7.Endlessly 8.The Small Print 9.Blackout 10.Fury 11.Butterflies and Hurricanes (full length with additional guitars) 12.Falling Away With You 13.Ruled By Secrecy WHAT?! Put the guitars on the album? No wayz! And also, the guitar part didn't exist when the album was made, so. I think Absolution's track listing is perfection itself. SharkTooth194
i think it should have been Fury instead of Falling Away With You... Falling Away With You let the album down... but it's still an amazing album

chriscox22
Both songs are fantastic, however i think that TSP has a lot more energy than Fury, which is probably why it is on the Album. But... I love Fury too. Depends what mood i'm in!!!
Potski
TSP was the right choice for the album. Fury is a great song though, so I got the Jap Bonus Edition
Harpsy
Both songs are great but I think Fury's slightly better than TSP
Whom
I like Fury a lot, but TSP fit's better on the album in my opinion. As someone else said though, Eternally Missed would of been better than both of them.
hyper_chondriac_muser
The better song is Fury obviously. But I still love TSP and think it deserves to be on the album. As most have said, it just 'fits' better. But I think both should have been on there to be honest - just release the Japanese one as a worldwide Abso album and it'd be the best 15 songs to ever be put on 1 cd! medusa_ c
Absolution should be: 1.Intro 2.Apocalypse Please 3.Time Is Running Out 4.Sing For Absolution 5.Stockholm Syndrome 6.Hysteria 7.Endlessly 8.The Small Print 9.Blackout 10.Fury 11.Butterflies and Hurricanes (full length with additional guitars) 12.Falling Away With You 13.Ruled By Secrecy does interlude bother you that much? as for the poll, someone ruined fury for me when they said that it sounds like climbing up the walls.Since then everytime i listen to fury,i can't help it but thinking of the similarities,so i've lost all respect
ApocalypsePleasure2
Fury is the better song, but TSP fits in on the album better. I second this. Fury seems to dark and brooding which is what makes it a masterpiece of a song. However, TSP fits into the theme of Absolution better, as Absolution has had its fair share of dark songs. We need a song to accelerate our heartbeats and cause endless headbanging too.... This is why TSP fits better on the album but Fury is absolutely superior! butterflies and hurrijames
For the album, TSP is better I think. It's needed just there. Gets things going before Endlessly kicks in.
