KockAnders
What? I wasn't on air? Doh! I was in full-screen the whole time, so I couldn't see the chat that was (although it was very limited). I guess I only recorded it, didn't broadcast live. :/ I hope I have recorded it at least... It should be up in some time... Maybe some minutes, maybe some hours, I don't know. But it should be on the channel nonetheless. Although, to be frank, DR's streaming service is rubbish. The picture was grainy and choppy and the sound would sound as if an antenna was screwed in wrong or something... It's better than nothing, I s'pose. EDIT: Oh, and as for the songs played, it was the same ones as on the swedish radio last fall. Uprising - Kaoss Jam into Supermassive black hole - Map of the Problematique - Interlude into Hysteria - Stockholm Syndrome. DR's mixing goes from pretty good to oddly bad throughout. For instance, in Map you can barely hear Matt's guitar at all. I don't know why they decided to do that. Seems like I r nub at livestream. the recording still isn't up. Guess it's not happening, and I don't know how to prod it into happening. As for the predictable beeftrain: This was a festival gig. Muse had 1:30 sharp, nothing more. They played the hits because that's what they reckoned the crowd wanted, and they were spot on. I don't know which festival you guys were at, but at Roskilde, everyone (besides you, apparently) went nuts. It was voted as the best gig at Roskilde. Muse called it their best gig all summer. Yup, they played feeling good. Where I was, people were actually cheering for it before there was even a megaphone on stage. When they played it the cheers were massive. Yup, they played the same old tired drab routine that win them countless "Best live act" awards. Guess they're just fools for doing that, huh. Yup, they wear silly costumes. A shame, why can't they take themselves seriously, as they want us to take their music. But I'll just call it quits here. This muddy beef is silly to engage in. jackparker
That video pretty much sums up all that I think has gone wrong with Muse. - Tired, predictable songs - same singles over and over again. - Every song is click tracked so they're the same tempo at every single gig, it basically restricts any variations whatsoever. Even the fills/little solos in the songs are identical. - Boring, time consuming riffs, the same riffs time and time again played after the same songs time and time again. - Weak sound mix, you can barely hear the bass and Matt's guitar is tinny as hell. - Stupid costumes. - Stupid fist pumpy gestures and clichéd 'rock' moves and that bloody illuminati sign or whatever wanktacular bunch of pretentious bollocks Matt carries on with. Pah. Fucking autopilot bullshit. EDIT: And then it's all 'O HAI MYOOOSEZZE, HAVE ANOTHER BEST LIVE ACT AWARD, LOL, U ERNT IT GUISE!!!1/!?!1/!!!!111??!1/!one!?>1>1/1!!!'. . But you have to understand that not every muse fan in the world is a boardie who moans 24/7 about what goes on! Not everyone will understand that they keep repeating everything, that all the riffs are the same every gig, that the costumes are predictable etc. Most muse fans aren't on this board, although there are a lot of members here, which means that there are loads of fans not on this board who dont go to a gig and when they get home complain because they've done it all before at every gig Clunge you should only be complaining if you are actually at every gig. You dont go to every gig, so you have no right really to be complaining, the only people who would complain if they wanted too, would be the people who were actually at the gig, like Dee3Dee for example. He was there so he can complain because he thinks it was rubbish. /rant

They still found the time for MK Ultra, Citizen Erased and Bliss on several occasions during festivals. Even Cave once. 2) They played their greatest hits because they were lazy. Why make an effort when you can stand around on stage doing fuck all for 1:30 hours and still have the crowd cheering you on? 3) I don't know which festival YOU were at, but I was at Roskilde, and it was fucking awful. The performance was weak (at best) from start to finish, and I certainly got the impression that they were just there to get it over with and then go away again. There was no emotion, no power in Matt's voice, nothing. 4) Yup, they played Feeling Good, which is a huge mistake at any gig. 5) The band claim that they don't care much about the awards. If that were true, there would be no reason for them to keep churning out the same shit night after night. 6) You're giving the crowd way too much credit. Roskilde was horrible, easily a candidate for worst gig of the tour.
Jaunzems
Will it be 1080p? If yes, another HD gig rolls into my HDD

But maybe we weren't at the same Roskilde gig.
