dougwalters
You know in time is running out how it says "Sense of elation" Well I bought absolution at the end of last year and it had "since ovulation" in the lyrics. WTF?
Clunge
It's because the lyrics is actually 'since ovulation' you ninny. I've listened to that song a billion times and never have I thought that line was 'sense of elation' . Now stop making rubbish threads plzkthxbi. Clunge
Nein comrade, it wasn' unless I missed a critical Muse memo at some stage. EDIT: Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. I may have to eat my hat. 'Sense of elation' doesn't make sense though, 'since ovulation' does make sense. I'm going to continue with 'since ovulation', even if I'm wrong . *retraction of initial statement, apology issued*

He originally wanted freedom but she's (?) trapped him with her godly powers. He's elated, because he'd never dream of breaking the fixation. Why on Earth would he start talking about ovulation? Now that you know I'm trapped, since you last released an egg from your ovary and began menstruation...
Clunge
'Now that I'm trapped, since ovulation' as in being trapped since birth/his conception. That was always my interpretation .
khfreek
'Now that I'm trapped, since ovulation' as in being trapped since birth/his conception. That was always my interpretation . Ovulation =/= conception. It's definitely elation dude.

Racket
I keep hearing 'tied to a whale hole' instead of railroad when listening to Hoodoo lately, now I cant even listen to the song without having whale holes on my mind.

mrs_bellamy_
wasn't it decided that it was sense of elation? i'm sure it's elation, not ovulation. I thought it was ovulation too, till I looked up the lyrics.

I'm going to continue with 'since ovulation', even if I'm wrong . *retraction of initial statement, apology issued* It does make sense if it were 'sense of elation' because that simply means that someone is elated (happy) that they trapped (have control over) someone else. hyper_chondriac_muser
Mwahaha Clunge was wrong! This makes me happy Anyway, I thought the fact was that the first Abso booklet had a lot of errors, including incorrect lyrics, so 'ovulation' was another typo? Though I can't remember if the 'updated' ones gave the right TIRO lyrics. But, yeah, it's definitely 'sense of elation'. I always loled at 'ovulation'... Matt's a bit barmy, sure, but that's extreme even for him

PwoperTomatoe
on Citizen Erased instead of "for a moment, i wish you'd hold your stage..." i thought it was "for a moment, i wish you'd all just die"
Whodo.
i'm sure it's elation, not ovulation. I thought it was ovulation too, till I looked up the lyrics. okay, the easiest way to sort this out.. **gets out absolution cd, and opens booklet inside** **reads lyrics** now that you know i'm trapped since ovulation you'd never dream of breaking this fixation done. H8 is cool ... er lol! Another misprint = 'your golden skies' instead of lies. PRINTAGE FAIL!
chapel
and i thought that he says "Destroy the spiders..." and i was glad that at least Matt has the same opinion that i have about the spiders.. this thread is really funny I thought this too!
