My telecaster already is quite bright u see. More mids would definitely help. Is the delay before or after your distortion? If its before it it can tend to muddy up your notes. Posted July 2, 2010 Share Posted July 2, 2010 If your amp has an FX Loop then put the delay in there and there should be an enormous difference, because the two signals (dry and wet delay) won't be blended together in all of the distortion etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hard to explain dont know if its cutting through to much! or not enough at all If you're using a analog delay (especially the MXR carbon copy) the wet signal/delays lose more and more treble as it decays.
