Muse's cover of U2's 'Where the Streets Have No Name' with The Edge

Recommended Posts

Did anyone else get chills listening/watching this tonight at Glastonbury?! I definitely did and I know I can't possibly be the only one. I don't think there are words, but I was curious to see others' reactions to the cover. I thought it was amazingggggggg.... but that's obvious. xD. Oh and the adorable smiles from Matt? Hah, just made my night! X).

Great job guys, seriously one amazing gig. <3. :).

I thought it was pretty good. They definitely enjoyed themselves playing it.

They definitely did. It was so great to see. :). Not to say they don't look happy to play everything but this song especially tonight with The Edge and all it was just a very seemingly-happy moment for them all! :).

It was even better than the real thing.

I knoww, haha. I feel bad for saying that, kinda. Cause I saw U2 in October (because of Muse opening for them, but oh well) and they performed that and they were great, I love them. But THIS is just like... O.O. I don't know. It was just mind-blowing for me. xD.

Their performance was beyond words. Matt did an OUTSTANDING job on the U2 song. Bono would be proud and a little jealous. I loved it...It was absolutely perfect. The entire concert was flawless. This is the best show I have watched of their live performances. There was something different tonight in their energy level and on their faces. They were really having a good time at the festival! I wish I could have been there in person. They really out did themselves. They gave the crowd everything...the energy was fantastic.

Yeah, seriously, I've listened to it 8 times already.

It's incredible, I'm not into U2 very much but I loved their performance so much. Though I think the sheer amount of energy they had last night made it that much better.

Absolutely incredible. I cannot even describe how amazing that performance was.

Matt did an AMAZING job and he looked so happy. The crowd was awesome. The energy was off the charts. Seriously one of the best performances I have ever seen.

Anyone who doesn't like that performance is not human.

LOVED IT!!!!

Oh my, U2 and Muse my 2 favourite bands. The gods united for one song (I like the Edge, he's cool).

Was it on purpose that Matt was doing the famous "air grab move" of Bono?

Some awesome guitar jam would have made it even better than the real thing, though.;)
