I think mine looks good just because it's really tiny I usually duplicate the layer of the object, flip it, add a color overlay fx, I choose the color (usually black, for the Abso one I used a dark blue), then I set the opacity (of the color or of the entire level) EDIT: oh and then I blur the shadow! But I just change the levels instead of the color. I think changing the feather of the border would probably make a more convincing shadow.
