So on Facebook they posted a picture saying they have a line-up addition for monday morning. Predictions? Hopefully someone kinda big. Like Phoenix or Soundgarden or something.

Whoa! They played house of the rising sun in Madrid 2 days ago! Wow, I think we will definitely get it, it's like they were playing it as a warmup for New Orleans :)

Yeah, I don't seriously expect Daft Punk, but the thought can't leave the back of my mind. If it happened I think I'd cry out of joy.

 

I'll be very very happy if it was the Strokes too. Soundgarden would be ok but im not a big fan.

 

Also, I notice Josh Homme isn't doing anything that weekend musically (I think), so what are the chances he plays with the Eagles of Death Metal? :awesome:

awesome! I'm still broke from buying Lady Gaga tickets -__- I was afraid the 3 day passes would sell out before I get the money for it. But if they're sold at the gate.. :awesome:.

Except do the House of the Rising Sun intro instead of those jams for TIRO. And if you could get Bliss in there that'd be great, but probably asking for too much considering their usual set lists. MK Ultra, CE, and NSC would all be new to me so that'd be cool. I want them to open with MK, which they seem to be doing for fests in Europe, though it may be different for the US.

I don't expect them to play CE, but I hope they do. And Bliss would be amazing, I want to hear it live really badly. I'm hoping they change things up in general for the second NA leg. And they've been opening with MK for all the European festivals so thats why i considered it a possibility.

I'm really really excited for this, probably because its the only Muse gig for the rest of the year im for sure going to, but still.

 

Been listening to the other bands. Jonsi is amazing, should have listened to this earlier, and I've heard amazing things about his live show. Same with Interpol, im digging them so far too, but i really have no excuse with them since they've been around since like the early 00's. Also digging Deadmau5. I suppose next I need to check out Florence and the Machine, Hot Chip, and Minus the Bear. Anyone know a good place to start with them? Also been listening to a bit of Weezer and watching live shows and im more open to seeing them live now, they seem to put on a fun live show and some of their older stuff is pretty good, even if the new stuff is hit or mix, and the set lists seem to get the older stuff in pretty well. I suppose im mildly excited for them.

 

Also i hope the new addition comes at midnight so i dont have to wait, but they said monday morning D: I'm really really curious.

 

Sorry to keep bumping this to say stupid stuff like this, I'm excited and not any other places to discuss it at. I don't wanna wait so long D:

Agreed - their lighting show is amazing (not as amazing as Muse of course :D ) and they have a whole different element live than in the studio. I suggest looking up some youtube videos if you're not familar with them.

Also keep in mind Soundgarden or The Strokes would probably have to wait until Lollapalooza is over to announce that they are playing Voodoo too...

Florence- Lungs. The entire album is just incredible. My favorites are Cosmic Love, Dog Days Are Over, and Kiss With a Fist.

 

 

So I'm an idiot and had no idea Jonsi was the singer from Sigur until I pressed play. I'm about 800000000x more excited now.

Sigur is one of those bands I don't think I'll get an opportunity to see. But Jonsi is pretty close I guess. :D

Sigur Ros is making a new album soonish, like after Jonsi is done with his stuff they are going back to the studio. Most likely a tour will follow and they will come close to here, hopefully. I have to see them this time around.

Maybe they'll play at SXSW next year. I could see that happening.

That girl can fucking sing. I'm praying that they'll do another round of shows in the US to line up with Voodoo. And if so, I'm hoping for a stop in Detroit.
