I've been meaning to try for a media pass for a few different bands, but I think I'd rather have a good spot at the barrier the entire show. Maybe if I end up with seats at another show. What I'm going to do is not get a photo pass, but just a media pass, so I can still shoot with a SLR around the festival, just not at the photo pit. That's how it worked at a festival last weekend.
