Scol2pioN
I think Invincible is OK-ish. Not one of their best songs but still not as bad as people here claim lol I thought it was absolutely fantastic live though. And Ellie, I love the SFA video too It makes me laugh Ok, i just watched the Sing for Absolution video.... WHAT THE FUCK!?!??!!?
Travisx2112
there are people who actually hate Invincible?! I love it!! Invincible ftw! ditto! FTW! Invincible was my introduction to muse, with that AWESOME guitar/bass solo in the middle. Love that song.
JT
I've found that I appreciate Invincible a lot more after seeing it performed in person I don't get the Starlight hate though, good memories attached to that song.
Dina F.K.K.
Yes, invincible lyric is like B&H, inspirational.. Invincible and starlight show other side of Muse or Matt..

The_Tourist
I love Invincible! I am always caught off-guard when people say they hate it. The guitar solo is one of my favorites and Matt's voice just sounds great! I could just go on and on about what I like about this song...
Johanna
Invincible is the heart of Muse. I ADORE the song. It always gives me chills, in the best possible way. Especially the slow build up. Only because a song has positive lyrics and a melody it cannot be called cheesy. I don't understand why so many people keep slagging off the song. To me it's the heart of Muse. I hope it's part of the V Festival setlist!

Hopix
As you all know we have a quite active anti-invincible movement on the forum! How can this be? Invincible is a great song. It has a great message and that breakdown riff and solo are great! It's the one song that shows the softer side of Muse on BH&R. All invincible lovers: Stand together, cuz Together we're invincible!!! Let the flaming/locking begin I love invincible. Terrific song. amazing solo and bass. ChrisirhC
If you dislike a tapping solo and it not being heavy metal then you need whacked in the face... and thats only the tip of invincible
bellamy'szetagirl
I love invincible. Live versions are much better than album version. If you hear it live, I don't understand how anyone can hate it. Maybe its not your favorite but it really shows off their musical talent. And if you need to hear a positive song its a great one to play.
Razorwing
Invincible is a great song. why hate it?
NaZZeX
On BH&R, the first 3 minutes are incredibly boring. There's too much build-up before the climax. This sure as hell works live, hence why it's incredible live. However, it completely fails on record. I can understand why many of us fans dislike Invincible. What bugs me is Muse's nerve to release it as a single. It's a terrible choice of single.
Raiko
I love Invincible to bits. But it's still amazingly cheesy. Make your dreams come true Don't give up the fight You will be all right Cause there's no one like you In the universe When you read it back, it makes me bite my bottom lip. It's quite cringe-worthy. Still an excellent song though.
NaZZeX
Took a long while for it to grow on me but yes, it is a good song. .
Obi
I don't dislike it because it is cheesy. It is probably my least favourite Muse song because the melody is so poor (it sounds like a nursery rhyme) and it just goes on too long.
Origin2001
Invincible is actually my favorite song live too. I know, I know, it isn't their style, wah wah wah! Stop your complaining. If you can't like it even a little bit, you just aren't a real fan. Go listen to Radiohead, for all I care. But if Muse is your favorite band, you shouldn't talk so badly about a song. I'm sure Matt is very proud of the song, and I am proud of him in return for giving us another great five minutes of a great CD made by a great band. So if you were a real fan, you would know that the trio love to take risks like this, and that dissing them so badly about this risk is very likely hurting their feelings. They might never make a song like that ever again, possibly! Some fans really love the slow and different songs, and you shouldn't make everyone else suffer if you don't like a song. If you don't like it, skip it on the CD. I can't believe true fans are dissing the band for one song they don't like. Makes me wonder if you are really a fan or not. Ghosty Ghost
I'll put my hand up to not be a true fan then. It's a shit song, and I hate everything about it. And you might have to explain to me how making a song with generic cringy lyrics, wanky solo, boring plodding bass, et al. is taking a risk. JoBear
They might never make a song like that ever again, possibly! Let's hope so!
InsertCreativeNameHere
Okay, yes some of the lyrics are cheesy. But the drums and the bass and guitar solo are great, not to mention Matts fantastic vocals. I don't think its one of my fave Muse songs but it is certainly given an unfair bashing. It is not shit. However it is okay not to like it, just appreciate the music/vocals.
Ghosty Ghost
No. I already said the bass bores me. The singing and guitar playing towards the end are undoubtedly technically complex and skilfully done, but so what? That's like the whole purpose of Muse. Matt wails and and does cool shit on his guitar. It happens on plenty of their songs, many of which don't make me want to vomit or stab myself in the ears. theanatomyofguns
I think invincible would be a lot better if the first half didnt slowly drag along, and if there was another backing instrument for the solo like a synth or something then it would sound a lot more epic because the 'big' moments sounds a bit weak on the studio version in my opinion
