Obi
Didn't notice this thread before: - "Take a bow-bow-bow..." and so on - End of Space Dementia and all those random noises - Sunburn where the second variation of the piano melody comes in - Outro of Citizen Erased - After the second chorus of Stockholm Syndrome where the riff is developed - The trumpet coming in on Knights of Cydonia - The official beginning of the drum beat and main riff in Map of the Problematique - Hysteria Intro - Unintended where he sings the chorus extra high - The first words of Fury - Closing arpeggios of Bliss and it slowly winding down (especially on the unmastered version) - The minute the piano joins the drums in Apocalypse Please - The end of "Nobody's gonna take me alive" and the riff that follows in Knights - Assassin GOB bridge - Plug in Baby where he first plays the riff - As soon as the bass comes in on Megalomania. It's just so ominous. I love it. - Drum fill in Assassin - Piano interlude in B&H Sorry for the random thread revival as well I saw it on similar threads and pretty much was compelled to post
manblue
I'm rather partial to the bit after the second chorus of Sober, I think. The bit where it goes "bam bam bam" and then the guitary bit comes in. I also find the guitar solo in Eternally Missed, the bit where it goes into 5-4 in Agitated, the piano in the outro of Sunburn and the riff at the start of the second verse of Uno all rather tasty. lensip max
"Come in my CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVEEEEEE" And the solo-y bit in that song as well. And I love the REALLY REALLY LOUD bit in Hoodoo, and then the way it returns to stillness at the end. That whole transition, I think I'm trying to say. And the opening of Plug in Baby
Reign
- The start of Bliss, just after the piano intro. - The final hook of Starlight. - The finale of Sing for Absolution. - The heavy outro of Stockholm Syndrome. - The end of Sunburn. - The Hullabaloo version of Showbiz where Matt's kneeling on the amp. - The Hyper Music bass riff. - The Plug In Baby intro. - The start of Hysteria. - The loud section of Ruled by Secrecy. - Second half of Map of the Problematique. - After during and after the synth of Knights of Cydonia. - The scream of Shrinking Universe. - Most of Fury. - Most of Futurism. Oh, favourite part? Just one?

muselovematt
the amazing solo in New Born end of SS begining of plug in baby but maybe my favorite is the part of Citizen Erased where it goes from guitar to piano and matts humming? in between
juanitashields
I know most folk on here must have a particular line, chorus, verse, bar, bridge, solo etc. that they love and listen to over and over again. I want to know. Mine is at the end of Citizen Erased when it goes from F major to F minor.....mmmmm I like the bit when the guitar kicks in after the pianoey bit in Newborn Also the beginning of Take A Bow The Hysteria solo And the beginning to Map Of The Problematique. Chorus of Citizen Erased
Wilfred
The end of Citizen Erased>everything, pretty much, but also the bit at the beginning of Hysteria where the note escalates and the main thing kicks in, and the bit in Hoodoo where he goes 'Whyyyyyy, whyyyyyyyyyy,' and the following loud bit. Also, and I will probably be crucified for this, near the beginning of Feeling Good when it goes all loud with the refrain thing. I iz such a noob:LOL:
Problemfanatique
Drum frenzy half way through MotP. The outro to CE. Solo in Invincible. Bliss Outro. Sunburn Intro. The "no one's gonna take me alive" and riff part of KoC. Final chorus of B&H. The louder part in Ruled By Secrecy. The part where the piano comes in into Hoodoo. and tons more. RenegadeOfFunk
In Hyper Music where it cuts to drum and bass - "you wanted more than i was worth, and you think i was scared yeah and you needed proof..." is just awesome.

Muse=MyMuse
Feeling Good - The way Matt says "Sleep in Peace when the day is done" Stockholm Syndrome - Guitar work and Lyrics "look to the stars / let hope burn in your eyes" Apocalypse Please - Piano Plug in Baby - Intro Butterflies and Hurricanes - Piano Solo The Small print (live) - Lyrics "I'm the priest god never paid" and when Chris sings "say it'll make you insane" Exo-politics - Drumming beat Sunburn - Piano Entire New Born song. petronia
Someone surely wrote this before, but I'm a little too lazy to read that many posts. The swallow sound Matt does in Map Of Your Head, between "I saw a liquid control" and "That gives life to a soul", as if the very pronunciation of the word "liquid" brought saliva in his mouth. It happens to me with that word and a few others too.
Wrigley
Sunburn, the entire song. Mostly the intro (Piano version ofc.). I love it more than life itself! I love the riff in Crying Shame, so odd. Bassline in verse of Hyper Music The switch from Piano to Guitar in In Your World. "SIIING FOR ABSOLUUUUUUUUUTIOOOON" The lyrics/vocals of the last "Sing for Absolution" (3.33+) and after in Sing for Absolution is the best singing I've heard in a Muse song so far. Hopix
Not in any particular order: How Intro goes so perfectly into Apocalypse Please Stockholm Syndrome drumming and riffs, also backwards Hysteria solo Blackout distorted (guitar?) Butterflies & Hurricanes piano solo Fury riffs, sounds like someone causing the end of the world The piano at the almost end of Ruled By Secrecy Everything on Take A Bow starting with "our freedom's consuming itself" Invincible solo Dom's drumming on Assassin Distorted bass on City of Delusion, and the chorus Hoodoo right after "in your eyes again" Knights of Cydonia Live Glorious "Rose Tinted View" don't know why I like that line so much Dead Star Intro Shrinking Universe whailing at the end Recess heavy bass Nature 1 Latin style guitar and "Like a broken damn you're empty, and all that's left are the sticks and stones" Hyper Chondriac Music's slow riffs New Born transition from intro, chorus, solo Bliss appregios Space Dementia "I'd cut your name in my heart" sickening in a good way Hyper Music Rage sounding guitar Plug In Baby riffs and sexy falsetto (and Matt spinning live) Citizen Erased=favorite song, slow riff towards beginning, psychotic riffs after chorus, followed by calm part, which goes into Matt on the piano singing, "Wash me away..." Micro Cuts chorus, quick styling riffs at the end Dark Shines bass Feeling Good Megaphone part Bedroom Acoustics intro that goes from high to low, to me it would be a good intro to SMBH for some reason Eternally Missed Bass The Groove "Someone tell me why she breaks my fall...then breaks my heart" Twin/Balloonatic chorus, although each with different lyrics Spiral Static whailing Crying shame riffs and drumming All of Sunburn piano Muscle Musceum Latin riffs, falsettos in chorus Falling Down "Now my world is upside down..." Cave riffs and piano to guitar part at the end Showbiz intro and of course giant falsetto at the end Sober lyrics Hate This and I'll Love You "You led me on" There you have it. I am in complete agreement with every one of those

FreaKeroppi
Chris's backing vocals on Apocalypse Please The strings in the chorus of City of Delusion The bass on Plug In Baby (makes me giggle a bit) The first "No one's going to take me alive" bit in Knights of Cydonia The electric guitar leading into the chorus of Sing For Absolution And that's all I've got for now, really. In Ryanbows
The chorus of The Small Print The riff of Plug In Baby The lyrics of Space Dementia The drawn-out ending of Space Dementia The solo of Citizen Erased The final lullaby part of Citizen Erased The last chorus of Knights of Cydonia The trumpet solo in City of Delusion The lyrics of Butterflies and Hurricanes The bassline of Hysteria The guitar part of the second chorus of Time Is Running Out My very favorite parts, however, would probably be how Invincible and Hoodoo, along with other songs (most from Black Holes and Revelations) pick up over time. I was not expecting such a hard solo in Invincible the first time I heard it!
Priad-Luabe
the end of cave = epic! the last bit of knights of cydonia the solo in invincible the end of space dementia the beginning of space dementia the middle of space dementia the riff at the end of microcuts and the vocal solo in muscle museum;)

discodotty
When Matts voice sounds like it's breaking in Escape (You're uncontrolable, and we are unloveable) <3 All of Plug In Baby (makes me jump around like a loonatic) The chorus into verse in Citizen Erased SMBH makes me want to dry hump anything in sight (It also reminds me of my 21st and me drunkenly slaughtering it on karaoke!) Matt gulping in MOYH All of Unintended The opening of Uno All of FAWY The bass in Muscle Museum 'No one's gonna take me alive!' Sweet memories of Wembley TIRO and it's sheer sexiness Yes Please, because it makes me laugh that none of my friends think that it is a Muse song
