MUSE on Bluray

Okay, here's what Muse needs to release (and they totally would)...

 

The new stadium tour, in Blu-Ray, in 3D. Just so I could come into my work on my days off, and watch Muse on our Panasonic 3D TV.

7:1 = 8 channels = 1.411mbps x 4 = 5.644.8mbps

 

Isn't that pretty much irrelevant because it just wont fit on a CD.

 

Anyway, I'm over the technical discussion.

Back when the HD-DVD/Blu-ray war was still raging, Muse, signed to Warner Music, had planned to release the H.A.A.R.P. show on both formats (alongside the DVD, of course), at the price of 24.99. I remember being gutted when it ended up not coming out on BD. :/

for me not quite, somethings are worth the extra few quid.

I still buy new DVD's for 3 but if it's a film/gig that I really like then it's got to be blu-ray.

What is a rip off is releasing only on DVD and then 6 months or a year later releasing the blu-ray- so fans end up buying both - please release on blu-ray!

I have a high end system.

PQ is much better in HD

AQ is far and away far better in UPCM, DolbyTrueHD or DTS HD MA.

 

As far as I'm aware there is not one Bluray on the planet mastered in 32bit. 16 and 24 yes.

But I'm not a numbers man, just know what it's like in the real world mate.

Incorrect, I bought 3:10 to Yuma (one of my favourite films) the other day for £4 from Tesco, Apocalypto for £3 and Avatar on the day of release for £12, all on blu-ray.

So we are all agreed that blu-ray is better than DVD, it’s not a ripp off and it’s the best format we have for now – so we want MUSE to release in the blu-ray format

I'm not agreed, but then i'm not wanting to stop the band from releasing anything on Blu-ray. I just wont buy it.

I'm really hoping they release the Wembley show on Bluray. Or at least a stadium show. And then as bonus features they can include various performances from different shows, like We are the Universe into Uprising from an earlier show. Maybe even a full show from like a US concert. Or one of the earlier European concerts when they still had towers.

 

I'd buy it day one.
