VickiiEliza
It was amazing. First gig in a moshpit before holy crap! that wait between dead letter circus to muse was crazy i thought people were going to sit down for a little while but everyone stayed squished up. I felt like i was going to die from heat:LOL: The crowd was really good, though, this girl that was one up in the line from me fainted, her eyes went back into her head, it was pretty scary but she got out ok, but yeah it was so much fun. I got one of the eyeball balloons plastic stuff from after it popped it will hang in a frame in my room has anyone looked at some of the videos from last night on youtube, i have people who say the mosh wasn't that good, look at a video of all the people and how crazy it went there from a distance, i think the crowd was really good! VickiiEliza
It was funny when the supporting act tried to get people to jump up and down and repeatedly failed hahaha i know! and when he was trying to get everyone to sing along with him and no one new the words i mean, im not trying to be mean, but were not their to see them play, if we wanted to sing along and jump around we'd go to their concert. GerryRocks
My 10th & final show for 2010 & thought it was the 2nd best gig out of the 10,behind New York City. I'm an aspiring photographer & got to photograph the lads professionally in USA in March, a total honour. One day who knows would love to be their concert photographer, dare to dream. These are my shots in slideshow from last night, oh how I would have loved to have used my pro gear. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gerry_70/sets/72157625537372236/show/ Shout out to the 4 girls from Singapore & to the young guy from Gympie who was next to me. Think it's awesome to see so many young people at Muse's gigs. You kids have so much choice in music these days & I think you've made the correct one. Rock On! TheMystikEel
Well the view from the middle of the back barrier was pretty damn awesome, have to say. Thought I might stand back a bit and take it all in visually... a wise decision! Thought they played a pretty safe setlist, but not a bad one by any stretch. Also apologies to the people around me last night - I DID kinda spaz out and dance madly etc. I am now paying for it dearly - my neck is SO SORE. 2 Sydney shows next for meee

dead-duck
Meh. I payed $129 dollars to go see Muse, and see them I did. They were fantastic! I'm so glad they were my first concert I went to. I don't care that the playlist was 'ordinary' to some. Plug In Baby was awesome (when they dropped the huge eye-balloons(By the way, was someone popping them or did they have some sort of automatic popping thingamajig inside them?)), and Knights of Cydonia was fantastic. Sure, a rarity or two would have been fantastic but it was still so worth it, and so great. And to those people who said "How can you sit!!" well I'm not a very dance y type of person. I don't really dance either, but I just had to stand up and bop around a little in my spot at the gig I went to... I don't think I could have contained myself in my seat My 10th & final show for 2010 & thought it was the 2nd best gig out of the 10,behind New York City. I enjoyed them heaps, my friend is a huge fan of theirs and she said they were fantastic too. No, they were the pits, he failed on getting the crowd to mosh, he failed at singing, the basest was a douche, the guitar player was useless, and you cant say " sing along" when nobody knows there songs or even the band. What did they play at the end of time is running out?

GerryRocks
Your an amazing photographer, i love photography too! may i ask what shutter speed, ISO and aperture you used? Thanks for your kind words. Shutter speed Min 1/60 ISO Normally I shoot with 1600 but I tend to play around with it 800 & 400 depending on lighting. (But the higher ISO more risk of grainy photos) Last night I was using 400 on my point & shoot as the light was quite strong. But professionally I'd be using 1600. The Aperture on my point & shoot (Panasonic TZ7) it choses itself. Professionally I shoot with F 2.8 most times.

deanob17
Such an amzing night, after standing in line for sooooo long, it was all so worth it!! The split line sort of crewed us in so far as meeting everyone, but that was insignificant. I got barrier on Matt's side, and as I looked around, I could see everyone I'd been with all day, as well as familiar faces from the board, all got barroer too! I tried to yell out to Aiden when I saw the Bliss sign, but the seccy got up me Setlist was what I was expecting, not bad, but leaving me fucking keen to see what we get tonight!! I have never had so much fun in my life, when the sheets fell down on the towers, I thought I was gonna cry!! And Seb, I loved DLC, but I looked around and maybe 5 people were singing along as well, and I'm pretty sure you were one of them If people arent standing up around me tonight, then they will be the ones pissed off. Especially if we get a good setlist, there will be no polite golf claps, I'm going apeshit.
GerryRocks
HI Gerry! Doug here. I met you at the airport on Friday:P. Second best gig hey? Thats pretty good. Looking forward to tonight! Woo! Hey Doug! Yeah I just felt that the boys were really into it & from the front it sounded awesome. The show in NYC was amazing as the entire crowd in MSG stood as one from the moment the house lights went down & they stayed standing till the end. Knights of Cydonia NYC Interestingly though speaking to Kirky after the show last night he said the boys were rusty. Well if that's rusty hate to see what their best is. Kirky said they'll play a different setlist tonight. Unfortunately I won't be there, bugger.
