What if Muse released a new cut of TR where the guitar and piano songs were inverted. For example Unnatural Selection becomes a piano song and USE would be guitar. I think it would be an interesting sound for the album...

 

They have do a reggae version of it :yesey:

 

And turn Exogensis into a 15 minute dub epic.

Thinking about it and looking at some of these alternate albums, Muse had the material to make Black Holes and The Resistance better than they are now. Crying Shame and Glorious are fantastic songs and should have been on it, Easily is good but not as good as the other two. Also, depending on when man with a harmonica was thought up to be used that would be great as the penultimate "song" behind KoC.

Hmm I find it interesting how most of you are thinking the album should open like the live shows with We Are the Universe. It works, but let's mix it up a bit more...

 

 

I think it should open with something bigger- like MK Ultra (even though again, that was rumoured to open the stadium shows...but it didn't) to kind of smack the listener in th ears. Then, if you HAVE to have it (though I don't know why you'd even suggest putting it on an album) follow into NSC for the slow beginning where it then builds again. Then given the ending of NSC, I think it will follow quite well into Resistance, which could then lead onto Unnatural Selection for the next heavy track. Next, I Belong to You without the french part, then - because I almost forgot about it, Uprising leading into We Are the Universe with THEN leads onto Exogenesis.

 

So that would be -

1- MK Ultra

2- NSC

3- Resistance

4- Unnatural Selection

5- I Belong to You

6- Uprising

7- We Are the Universe

8- Overture

9- Cross Pollination

10- Redemption.

 

Now you guys will probably think that's utterly awful - but I just rearranged it like that on Itunes, and it kinda works for me :p

We Are The Universe is the intro music they used for the European and American legs of The Resistance tour.

 

Soaked is an unreleased Muse song, thought to have been recorded for BH&R, that was leaked via Warner's website prior to it being given to Adam Lambert to cover.
