cheddatom
I get it doing this with bass, but on guitar wouldn't you just use a slide? Are you really going to be able to hear fretless tone after it's gone through his rig? I know he does over the top shit for the sake of it, but usually there's some functionality about his guitars. Don'tPostThePear
that is a string dampener/muter on the upper neck around 1st fret?
cheddatom
there's something weird there. It could be for damping the open strings. I know a few bassists do that.
Liam511
Who knows could come in handy for..umm...invincible? Only song I know of with slide but then there could be others... Looks cool though
james90
yeah it's basically so he can slide without a slide looks huge on him - i wonder if it's chambered or anything? a single necked 'moc' is maybe a little heavier than your average les paul. Crowella
Otto: "You know those guitars that are like, double guitars?" *stamp approved* It just looks really bulky compared to Matt. Have to say though, I kind of did like the fretless sound, even though at the start of the uprising clip I thought he was just caressing the board

lily93
He's really milking that right hand fretting and producing nothing you can't do with a regular 6 string fretted guitar. Steve Vai in Denver he ain't.
