tomrulez
It's probably for a song with two different tuning or something.
interpolpirate
Don't manson make guitars that are named after matt bellamy or something? Similar to his ones I mean. Cos if they do then this could be for anyone, the matthew bellamy referring to the guitar rather than the owner. It could be a short way of saying a double headed guitar like matthew bellamy's and we are misinterpreting it. I hope not though - that picture would be epic
tomrulez
They only make the MB-1 and that is a set design they don't deviate from.
EJ.
It's probably for a song with two different tuning or something. One probably down-tuned. I understand.
Tofu
First a keytar, now a double necked guitar... Next he'll have an accordion on stage I'd love to see him with an accordion, actually. *ahem* MB-2 Double Necked Dual Kaoss Pad Rainbow Glitterati Manson FTW! If I were drinking something, it would be all over my keyboard about now.
Jyrgen
The other neck could also be a 12-string for a Hotel California or Stairway To Heaven cover I mean, they've already done Back in Black

lily93
If it's true and it's a new song it's going to be Stairway to Heaven's ugly-retarded-unidentical twin. How come I can't get soapbars with nickel covers at request?
lily93
It's probably for a song with two different tuning or something. But whammies can do 10000000 different tunings and you need just one neck.
Xut
If there's gonna be a special guitar than bring back the/another 7-string and play fucking CE again..
Anxyous
But whammies can do 10000000 different tunings and you need just one neck. If you use a whammy, you affect all strings by the same amount.

Jyrgen
He uses those autotuner systems already though, I'll stick to my theory of a 12-string
cheddatom
can't his robotic tuners tune faster than swapping your left hand from one neck to the other?
lily93
can't his robotic tuners tune faster than swapping your left hand from one neck to the other? Yes, and you can midi them with a whammy to change with a footswitch. In fact, all he has to do is pick the notes, the robots tune the strings to the desired pitch and play the song for you. And a 12 string? Knockin on Heavens door to impress slash much?

lily93
I don't get the humour in that picutre, because that probably IS what is being made.
cheddatom
perhaps the humour is that matt's still in the closet but a rainbow guitar is the guitar of a massive gayer.
