wasdax
The rehersal set was 21 songs I think? I expect the usual MK/Map/GL swapping to occur and possibly IBTY to be dropped in favour of RBS. That leaves one song slot for a setlist poll winner. If the setlist polls have a 'regular' on them then they'll just play 2 of Map/MK/GL. /predictable Muse. I have more faith than you, but sigh.. it's probally misguided.
Mozza
I have more faith than you, but sigh.. it's probally misguided. I've been through all the good and bad times. They never change, they're still doing the same length sets (or shorter) than they were 7 years ago. Can't see it changing now I'm afraid.
jack259
Why is there such a contrast between the shows now and how they were three years ago? Judging by the Wembley setlist, they knew exactly the right balance between playing the new songs, typically for newer fans, and older material that everyone loves (B&H, Bliss, TAB, Citizen Erased, Micro Cuts O___O) What happened to that? used to be alright. what happened? Zaphod Chizzlebrox
Tonight's setlist was more fail than win. It'll be very interesting to see what they do at the first of the proper tour dates.

Astronoma
I accepted them about two months ago, that they weren't going to drastically change what they have done to themselves the last year. I presumed stadium/festival gigs would be the same old story with added votes songs but the wording about the voting panicked me. 'Try our best' etc which made me think they would play one ocassionally two voted songs. But tonight, with mk opening, bliss, ibty in a short set gives me hope that they'll play 3 maybe of the top 5 in the upcoming shows. So I'll get to hear songs I've never heard hopefully at Glasto and Oxegen whose polls are very nice and thats enough cause I'm not expecting anything great from them anymore as they've not done anything to show that for me at all personally, not one bit. Thats a very quick presumption that they will do so of course but gives me hope indeed. I'm going to these gigs and I'm more hopeful that I can hear one or two songs I've always wanted to hear. The rest just may be drunken tomfoolery.
a-museing
I don't mind TIRO being dropped. I just hope they don't stop playing SS.
Clunge
Massive plusses and massive minuses. + VARIATION + Mixed-up order + MK Ultra opening + Introduction of Bliss, Neutron Star Collision and I Belong To You + No Feeling Good + Muse actually had the balls to drop Time Is Running Out - Not enough rawk - A Muse set without New Born is incomplete - Supermassive through to Plug In Baby is just much cheese Bah, again, it appears to be one step forward, one and a half steps backward . But again, I shall reserve judgement until the first round of stadium shows has passed.
FearAndPanic
Go to the bar during the middle section? Get tanked up and be smashed for epic Starlight clapping If only to numb the excessive clapping pain. If it doesn't hurt when sober, you're doing it wrong. Super Sammy!
Not sure I like seeing Hysteria as an encore track, it should always be earlier in the set! Hmm, I agree it just doesn't quite seem to go as an encore track. I want it to open again, like at Glasto
Super Sammy!
N'aww, Dom and Chris look so happy in the video of Bliss see, all they need to do is play a few songs they haven't played in a while to keep them interested, and, BAM, they're fine
Mozza
First 5 songs of that set are great and then it kinda loses its way. Not keen on both New Born and Stockholm going. I did like Hysteria being in the encore though, could have been 1 of 4 songs and I thought it would be TIRO
Super Sammy!
IBTY is surprisingly good live (I wasn't expecting it to suck, but I also wasn't expecting it to be awesome), but in amongst all that cheese? It kind of takes away the novelty. USoE -> IBTY will be fine as long as they sort out that horrid long line of cheese.

Clunge
I just hope they've got the balls/guts to keep mixing it up, even at the festivals. I really hope they don't revert to auto-pilot at the festivals and whip out something like this: Uprising Map Of The Problematique Supermassive Black Hole Resistance Hysteria Neutron Star Collision United States Of Eurasia Feeling Good Undisclosed Desires Starlight Time Is Running Out Plug In Baby Unnatural Selection ----- Stockholm Syndrome Knights Of Cydonia That'd be gutting .
