bILLOO
I predict Hyper Music, Screenager and Filip to be played tonight. LOL JK; Feeling Good
nikite
Actually, for me it was very much a contributory factor in my enjoyment of the whole experience and I've seen them at their most basic at the Royal Albert Hall. I enjoyed both very much and don't agree that an elaborate stage set makes for a dull musical performance. +1. I was at RAH aswell, it's the best gig I've been to and the lack of stage set up didn't bother me at all, but it's not the reason why it was such a good gig. The stadium gigs have been amaaaazing! Guest Bl44t44p
And so are Coldplay and U2 for example. But that's exactly the reason I'm asking, because I haven't heard anything of Muse having a duplicate stage for this tour... So they are building the stage right now in Goffertpark and playing Madrid tonight. Which means at least two stages =)
mai_taylor24
I'm going to try and avoid looking at any more setlists. I'm seeing then in three weeks so it's not too long to wait and if they do play anything different at least it will be a surprise.
Phil.
It is a genuine statement to say that the stage restricts their song choices. The stage, is infact, a living creature that just so happens to only know all of the singles and a few odd album songs. If muse dared to play a song such as, say, Hyper Music, which the stage doesn't know, then it would be so lost and confused that it's feelings of happiness and excitement from just hearing Feeling Good followed by Neutron Star Collision, will be replaced with feelings of pure rage and anger. It will then commence in destroying everything and everyone within a 10 mile radius before exploding with an enormous radioactive blast, polluting the earth's atmosphere with deadly radiation. so, you see... muse are doing us a favour. It would seem you all accidentally forgot to respond to my rather important post regarding the setlist rigidity. I suggest you read it again and accept your fate. Dee3Dee
+1. I was at RAH aswell, it's the best gig I've been to You got fucking Megalomania, Fury and Bliss in the same gig. I would agree with you had I been lucky enough to have attended that gig. *jealous*
WutDaFucksy
1. Uprising 2. Supermassive Black Hole 3. New Born 4. Map of the Problematique 5. Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) 6. Guiding Light 7. Bliss 8. Interlude 9. Hysteria 10. Nishe 11. United States Of Eurasia 12. Feeling Good 13. MK Jam 14. Undisclosed Desires 15. Resistance 16. Starlight 17. Time Is Running Out 18. Unnatural Selection Encore: 19. Unintended 20. Exogenesis: Symphony, Part 1: Overture 21. Stockholm Syndrome Encore 2: 22. Take A Bow 23. Plug In Baby 24. Knights of Cydonia So Neutron Star Collision replaces Butterflies & Hurricanes. Bliss comes in so no I Belong To You to accomodate that. Unintended back in for Soldier's Poem. No MK Ultra again. Have Muse seriously fallen into the same trap of the towers where they can't actually move the songs in the setlist around a bit or even play many different songs? Once you get passed I Belong To You from the Paris gig it was exactly the same as the Madrid setlist ending. Very VERY boring. From the looks of it it is just the towers again but bigger but still restrictive. The beauty of the two Wembley shows last time was the addition of new songs and the regulars being moved around slightly in the setlist! They need so much more variety. I mean for god sake RAR6ATSFAGJDGWIFEHEH BORING.
hipbones
Is the setlist above from tonights gig? I would much prefer to see Muse on the festival setup than the stadium one...Muse don't need the massive lights, shown by the RAH gig and more recently the Casino de Paris gig. Teignmouth is also a good example. A few lazers and that was it.

hipbones
Yep from tonight. And ah yes forgot that one. I'm looking forward to Oxegen if that's the way the stadiums are panning out. Festival > the rest.
agenthal
I'm looking forward to Oxegen if that's the way the stadiums are panning out. Festival > the rest. I wish that was true for U.S. fests as well, but I doubt it. But hey, if they come out in costume at Voodoo, I could care less what they play! Riveon
I don't get why they refuse to play more than one poll song per show. I mean, yes, it's great they played Bliss. But why not CE as well, or B&H, which was a recently played song that was in the poll as well? Do they just hate those songs or something?

Because they are just going for the easy option which I was afraid they would. Actually they played BH and SP in Paris and those 2 songs were nowhere near the top 5 for that gig! Sense, they make none

Actually they played BH and SP in Paris and those 2 songs were nowhere near the top 5 for that gig! Sense, they make none I guess the French-speaking countries will get IBTY. Then the rest will see a cycle of MK, Bliss, Butterflies and CE. Sad thing is, that setlist from last night with RBS instead of Guiding Light was actually decent. But the actual setlist seems poor, even though it's just one song different!

WutDaFucksy
Nah they didn't, they just really need to make it interesting, just change it up a bit! It's really not difficult!
Mozza
They didn't get RBS...did they?? I asked a friend who was there and she says not. Setlist.fm had it listed as: ....... forevermusic
Checking Setlist.fm during a gig is not always a good idea - remember Berne when they had In Your World, CE and Bliss listed even though neither was played? I like Guiding Light, but putting in RBS instead of Feeling Good also improves the set.

My decisions paid off I hope they play it Manchester or either of the Wembley gigs so I can just go nuts to it! I wanted to video it in France as it's important to me to have these videos to watch any time after the gigs.
