Spittle Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 We can all sing Guiding Light and NSC on the way home
Max Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Just my thoughts on the camera thing... I think they probably mean no cameras at all. It makes no sense to me as to why they would want no cameras (then again, I'm not entirely sure why the gig is taking place at all bar the fact it's a preview for the summer shows?) but I remember Placebo doing a similar thing around this time last year for their three warm-up shows in the UK and the staff at the gig confiscated all cameras if they found any on you. What's more, if security spotted you taking photos/videos on your phone, you were told to stop or have it confiscated. I'm not trying to scaremonger you - for all I know it might change - but just be aware that if you're wanting to take a camera, you'll probably be better off trying to smuggle it in and being quite sly with it.
Andre_idol Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 People let the cameras alone and enjoy the concert! (talks the one who will have his concert recorded on TV...) Leave that for pros and sing along GD and NSC!
muselovertoo Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Can I just say congratulations to all of you who were lucky enough to win tickets. I would love it if some of you could get footage (if cameras are allowed in) to share with the unluckys who didn't win. But come on isn't this gig one of the most priceless experiences whatever songs you get because there will only be a maximum of 1500 people there? Muse may never do anything so small again. That alone was why i was willing to travel from Melbourne. Enjoy every moment and just know everyone is sooooo jealous......
BabyBliss Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 We can all sing Guiding Light and NSC on the way home  Sounds like the bus I would like to be on...
Loopmusic Posted May 23, 2010 Author Posted May 23, 2010 lol *never heard those 2 live yet* And I hope I never will...well certainly not GL. Sorry for all those getting the green eyes. I did say when I set the thread up that it might not be fun reading for those who didn't manage to secure tickets. As for how many people will be there - the muse board competition was 275 pairs of tickets, so that's 550 from here. I don't know how many were given away in the other two competitions, but looking at the venue layout and thinking about sponsors/guest tickets, I'm guessing that people are right thinking less than 1500 people. It looks the size of Rock City which holds 1500 at capacity, but that's with two standing areas and I doubt they'd remove the balcony seats. So maybe <1000 in the standing area with VIPS and other guests in the balcony with the seats. Hehe, all this speculation...but now everything's sorted, don't have much else to do! With 8pm start time, are we only getting Muse? I know I wouldn't really be bothered about a support act for this gig.
Clunge Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Here's hoping they roll out a corking set for you guys . Gutted I couldn't enter, but I have my final degree exam on the 28th .
Pip Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Sorry for all those getting the green eyes. I did say when I set the thread up that it might not be fun reading for those who didn't manage to secure tickets. Oh I was only joking! Yes, I'm envious of you all but I'm delighted you won and look forward to reading all about it!
RythmOfMuse Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 how many people are going to be at the concert Good question. On muse.mu there are 225 winners, so 450 tickets. I think, that they will raffle some tickets off in the French radio. About 1000 people suit in the Casino de Paris. Maybe 1000 - 1500 people will be there. Oh, I just see, that muselovertoo and Loopmusic have answered to your question
