Hopix
Invincible is a brilliant song. So is City of Delusion.
redneonfish
Invincible would've been cool in the cheese slot. I wasn't that keen on Dead Star either, but as Nipso suggested, when it popped up it was fucking good and it has since entered my top 10. I'd love to hear Exo Politics too, I reckon the chorus would be massive.
jacjens
All the BH&R-songs that have been dropped this tour are great ... exept Soldier's Poem. Would love to see just one of TaB, Invincible, Assissian, Exo-Politics, CoD and Hoodoo.

Picko
Never quite understood the dislike for Soldiers Poem on this board. One of my favourites from BH&R.
Jazzthief
Never quite understood the dislike for Soldiers Poem on this board. One of my favourites from BH&R. I don't think that anyone hates the song, they just hate how it kills the flow on the album.

Coco345
Actually, some people in Rome organized some kind of choir for it (they sang the chorus during the encore, iirc). It obviously failed. This is one thing i absolutely dislike by muse; they are inhibited and they don't act on impulse.

redneonfish
yes ok, but by comparison with some other bands... Possibly. But it's not like they could have changed songs at the drop of a hat when the acrobat would have rehearsed the routine to the time of a particular song. redneonfish
there are certainly options... Are there really? So much of the gig was so carefully choreographed that I doubt there was much room left for spontaneity.
Matt's Jawbone
Agitated/Yes Please in Helsinki... Which, I must add, was delightfully surprising.
mskatie
This is one thing i absolutely dislike by muse; they are inhibited and they don't act on impulse. I don't think inhibited is the right word. More like deliberate and meticulous. Liquid State should have been a single. It would have done better than Supremacy. It would have done better than Supremacy. There's nothing necessarily wrong with being deliberate and meticulous though. If a single is supposed to give you an brief impression of the band, you can't have a single in which the lead singer isn't the 'proper' lead singer. serpentsatellite
I agree about having LS as a single - if we're taking singles as being out there to draw in new fans, it would be quite misleading! It's hard to blame the failure of subsequent singles after Madness on anything other than the complete and total lack of effort on the part of the label to actually push or promote those singles, imo... In the US, for instance, there was an excessive gap between Madness, and Panic Station. Sure, Madness was still charting, but the way the public's attention span works now, putting out another single a little sooner would have kept interest a lot better.
