Hat
It's fun for the riff and the massive sing along But the riff is bland.
Matt's Jawbone
Both versions of Supremacy, album and live, are excellent. The only song I find boring on T2L is Madness. I always skip it.
WutDaFucksy
It's alright, it's cool to see but I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't in the set
Jobby
Uprising worked much better as an opener imo (and in general as well).

Matt's Jawbone
Now here's a really controversial one: If Ruled by Secrecy came on at a gig, I'd use it as my bathroom/beer break.

Matt's Jawbone
You would definatly be missing out on one of the heaviest moments at a muse gig Never cared for the song personally. One guy on the setlist for the stadium tour thread said he could here people talking louder than the song at Wembley and I'm not surprised. Maybe at the beginning but no way in hell would you hear someome talk over the part when the song just explodes into loudness

Finn.
lol stop. Hoodoo is great. Yes, it is, but it's not a secret that the production of BH&R is far from optimal. Listen carefully that album, and then TR or T2L.
kueller
It was one of the best produced on the album though.

ryanp16
Music production is something I'm completely oblivious to. Could someone please give me an example of good and bad mixing and an explanation of it?
kueller
Music production is something I'm completely oblivious to. Could someone please give me an example of good and bad mixing and an explanation of it? Production is every aspect that goes from recording the song until the final release. Kind of hard to really sum it up with good/bad. It's some aspects of BH&R that made it weak. Mainly it wast the final mastering which brickwalled the volume and left it with little dynamic variation. Hat
I am of the opinion that no one should be told why the mastering of BH&R is bad. If you can't hear anything wrong with it, good for you. Also, nothing wrong with the studio version of Hoodoo imo either.

Like how Absolution sounds like it was recorded through an old gym sock, and makes your expensive sound system sound like one of those $5 iPod speakers. :'(

kueller
There is something about Absolution that just bugs me. It's not full brickwalling like Black Holes but it does get irritating after a while.
serpentsatellite
It just sounds really... muffled? It's hard to describe sometimes, but it always makes me feel like I need to dink with my sound settings, and it never "feels" right.
