monmouth13
Wow, thanks for posting. I always wonder about the people who helped amazing musicians such as Chris, Dom, and Matt get to where they are today. She really seems lovely and it's amazing that when they played in Teignmouth they remembered her and set aside tickets. Awesome:)

Missy411
Aawww As a Muse fan, that was adorable. As a teacher, I got a little misty. (The Alex Turner one was great as well.)
AguanteRiver
I just saw this article on the Coachella forums, as a reply to someone who said Chris was the greatest bassist ever. Yay. I'm glad they had a teacher who actually encouraged them to play. I'd give him top marks and say: "Chris, this is already brilliant. I can't give you a better mark." He'd be: "But it's not right." Go perfectionists!

futurophu
cute.. but how depressing is that 'Matt and Dom were in an incredibly creative class. They all fed off each other. You only get that kind of thing once or twice in a lifetime. With a normal class, if I'd put something on that wasn't heavy metal, they'd moan. With them, I'd put on Chopin or Steve Reich, and they'd get into it. There was a classical oboist in the class, too; it all made for a really receptive atmosphere.' think of all the great kids that miss out because theyre in rubbish classes .. t.gypsy
That was an awesome article. Awesome teacher too there always has to be an awesome teacher at school makes me remember one of mine Mr Brady. He was a surfer type teacher laid back and easy going made class interesting and also let me debate my points in class on the days i went. Then Mr dejonge who would let us eat in class and play pop quiz and also happy to answer any questions and the one thing that was priceless is he gave us a lesson on how cannibis grew and the different types there were  and also thier uses
