cydonian.muser
Hello everyone! I have a couple of questions, and just so you know I read all 13 pages of this thread. First I want to say it's my first Muse concert, heck even my first time being in GA in a bigger venue like the Target Center AND my first time going on my own; reason is, I couldn't find anyone else willing to pay $60 for Muse . By the way I got my ticket on Saturday and I was super excited! Anyways, a couple of questions I have are, since I will be lining up early in the morning to be able to be in the front rows, how can I hold my spot in line if I want to eat, pee, etc.? If I leave my spot, is it basically gone? Also, since we will be waiting in line for a long ass time, what do people usually do in line to keep entertained??? Either way, I am looking forward to the concert and meeting the concertgoers
January
Got my tickets! Less than 4 weeks... If I leave my spot, is it basically gone? The one time I queued all day for a Muse show, people were very friendly about saving spots. I'm pretty sure people will hold your spot if you only leave for something quick like food or bathroom. Here's a good thread about GA and waiting in line, in case you haven't seen it yet: http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=69344

Hopefully many of us on this thread will meet in line, so there should be no problem. It should be pretty easy to make friends, even with non boardies. I went to the Atlanta gig by myself and had a great time. Just don't leave for 4 hours! As far as entertainment, just chatting, I guess. Or if you're not as social, a book and mp3 player should do it. I'm guessing we will be able to put all our "crap" back in cars and just go inside with the bare minimum of course. Less than a month now!

Furygirl
So should I put together a Twitter list of peeps who are going? It might be kind of nice if we want to communicate with each other the day of the gig. And if anyone is following the gig from the forum, they might appreciate knowing whose tweets to follow. I doubt I'll tweet the setlist, but someone might. (I have a feeling after the first two gigs, there won't be much interest, though. Just a hunch. ) As you all probably know, you can specify which Twitter users whose tweets you want to receive on your mobile phone. Anyway, just an idea... https://twitter.com/violetjohnson39 (Furygirl/Renee) http://twitter.com/SyntonicMemory (ProjectSynapse) http://twitter.com/EratoAmused (Natalia) http://twitter.com/Epona99 (Nicole) http://twitter.com/BAR0623 (Beth) https://twitter.com/glitchinmybrain (Lindsay)
ProjectSynapse
Yeah, I think that's a great idea. I've been wondering about that. Here's my Twitter. My brother and I will be staying at the Crowne Plaza, which is pretty much right next to the Target Center, if anyone wants to come over and party. Can't wait to be there, hanging out with everyone. Furygirl
Okay, cool! I just sent a request to your Twitter account. ^ I'll edit my above post as needed, and then when we get a decent list, I'll get Nicole (Epona99) to edit the first post with the names/twitters. BAR0623
I am a twitter noob. Just created my account a few minutes ago... Natalia
Hey guys! I will tweet (pictures mostly) before and after the gig, but I will not tweet during the gig itself - I'd much rather be recording and taking pictures ;-)

BAR0623
So I just bought 300 glow bracelets to pass out in the GA queue. I'm going to ask everyone to take no more than 3 so that at least the first 100 people get one. I think it will be awesome to see all the folks at the barrier wearing them.
