Zig Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Everyone getting there tickets fine? Hope there aren't any troubles. Got mine easily and quickly!
Steampunklibrarian Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Why not? There's a plethora of groups out there right now. And then, I get to use obscure words with other people, like - organicity, sagaciousness, and confabulator. Let's do it! We need special t-shirts too you know...something like "I listen to 785.9345...how about you?"
Furygirl Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Epona, Furygirl ... get your GA tix?? Yep, first try!
ProjectSynapse Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 *Shriek/Squeal* I'M GOING TO MY FIRST MUSE CONCERT! I just bought my tickets and spent the last ten minutes running through my house frantically waving my arms and yelling "I'm going to see the greatest band in the world play LIVE IN PERSON!" Parents: Neighbors: Does this make me a loser? Probably. Do I care? Hell no - I'm going to see Muse! :awesome: (Sorry to go all insane fangirl, but I was thinking this would be the best place to let it all out. ) So, on a more sane note... I'm 20 and a girl, and going with my brother who's a 16 year old guy. It's just us two, so it would be really cool to meet up with some fellow midwest musers when we get there. Anyone in?
Hillz Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Yay! Got my 4 GA tickets!! I'm excited that they are finally coming here! I've done a lot of traveling to see them so it will be nice to stay close to home
Tonewolf Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 This is great. Muse at the Target Center. The sound isn't the best there, but the closer you are to the stage, the better it is. I got my 4 GA tickets and now gotta figure out how early to show up to get in line. So if it's frowned upon to have 1 person save a spot in line for 3 others...is it just as wrong to have 2 people in line save a spot for 2 others? I am sure I'll be able to take off a couple hours of work to wait in line, but I don't know if my 3 friends will be able to swing it.
Epona99 Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 Wow, there are a lot of library people on this thread! including the original poster:) inter library loan Epona, Furygirl ... get your GA tix?? yes, so much easier this time, went through on the first try! You're a Dewey, and I'm a LC. We might not mesh. No, seriously, it'd be fun. We could take over the book recommendation list like overeducated dictators. I swing both ways the university I'm based at has mostly LC but some Dewey as well
BAR0623 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Got my GA ticket!!!! So excited. Hillary- I haven't seen you post on here yet but I can't access Facebook from work. Are you getting GA too? Edit: I see your post- on this very page. I must be going blind.
knightofcydonia14 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 My mom got section 131 row E, I was hoping for 112, but they are still awesome seats! I can't believe I finally get to see Muse!!!:awesome:
glitchinmybrain Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Got my GA tickets! planning on perhaps missing school that tuesday to get in line early *crosses fingers*
anom Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I'm so excited I got tickets. I'll be in sect 111. Does anyone know how they plan to set up the stage yet? It would be amazing if it was in the middle.
tails Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Nice to see other native Minnesotans going to this gig Maybe I'll see some of ya there! It'll be about a month after Wembley...perfeccccct.
Natalia Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I'll be coming to MN as well, so excited!!!
Epona99 Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 I'll be coming to MN as well, so excited!!! please dear Goddess, give us our best fall colors ( they usually are peaking around then) and mild temps to make our out of town guests feel welcome, especially certain Brits!
Furygirl Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 please dear Goddess, give us our best fall colors ( they usually are peaking around then) and mild temps to make our out of town guests feel welcome, especially certain Brits! Yeah, I'd like to not freeze my tits off like I did in Atlanta!
Hillz Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Got my GA ticket!!!! So excited. Hillary- I haven't seen you post on here yet but I can't access Facebook from work. Are you getting GA too? Yes ma'am..GA all the way!!! I am excited to see you again!! I am still considering Milwaukee as well but not sure I can pull getting the time off work since that's not long after going to Europe (Wembley ) It would be awesome tho cause I know a bunch of peeps going to that one!
Hillz Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I can't wait for this gig! I went to the one in Las Vegas' date=' NV and it was absolutely amazing. I'm planning on getting GA tickets this time round though but we'll see what happens. I'm tempted to go see them while they're in Milwaukee too The shame is that I'm from North Dakota and honestly I'm probably the only Muse fan in Grand Forks so it looks like I'll have to go by myself or something (EEK!) It would be awesome if I could meet up with a bunch of people or something, it would make it a lot cooler![/quote'] For sure!! I swear meeting new friends is one of my face things about being a muse fan!! I have met so many awesome peeps! Meet up sounds good
Hillz Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 She's all paranoid that she'll get crushed or trampled. But she said that I can't get GA because if I get barrier I won't be able to see Muse, wich is BS, but I'm not giving up yet. LOL!! Here are the pics I got from the barrier in Chicago.... Tell her there are no worries about seeing them from the barrier!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/hillaryjoy/sets/72157623516372199/
Furygirl Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 ^ Those are great pics! I think I've looked at them before, in fact.
anom Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I think I've got 111 too. Comparing it to other concerts on Target's page, 111 should put us to the right of the action. Might use this ticket to give away during Banned Books Week, and buy some higher up action to get some seats in a row once the sale goes public. i'm hoping that if they use the floating blocks stage set up that should make them better seats. I couldn't log in to get my tickets until like 1 so they weren't nearly as good as I was hoping but I'm still really excited!

So, here's the layout -
Vodden Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 LOL!! Here are the pics I got from the barrier in Chicago.... Tell her there are no worries about seeing them from the barrier!! http://www.flickr.com/photos/hillaryjoy/sets/72157623516372199/ Those are some nice pictures, they really turned out well! I was lucky enough to get my two GA tickets (Finally convinced a friend to go!) I'm honestly very excited for this gig! The only downside is that I'll have to make a five and a half to six hour drive to Minneapolis but that's okay, maybe that's even a good thing because then my friend and I can head straight to the venue and wait in line for the concert. I'm lucky enough to have a free place to stay even after the concert; oh the benefits of having friends in other cities
Natalia Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 please dear Goddess, give us our best fall colors ( they usually are peaking around then) and mild temps to make our out of town guests feel welcome, especially certain Brits! +1 It'll be beautiful Epona!! Yeah, I'd like to not freeze my tits off like I did in Atlanta! Do we know how cold it normally gets that time of the year? *I am so glad you are coming!*
