How did they sell the same amount of tickets at both Staples shows when the back of the stage was blocked off for night #2, but open for night #1?

Live Nation reported attendance of 32,021 and total gross of approx US$1,691,000 for the two Muse Staples Center shows representing over 99% venue capacity to Billboard Box Score but did not provide a break down for each night. Night #1 definitely sold a few more tickets than night #2 but I cannot give you exact figures.

Yeah, I wish we could get a specific breakdown of the two Staples shows, but the combined amount is still very nice.

Ah, thanks. I think I misread your projected amounts vs. actual amounts.

those figures that Live Nation put up are bullshit.

a sold out staples gig is not a 16,000 seat night. its 25K

staples is a 25K capacity venue at least. they sold out close to 50K seats for the weekend. night one was sold out and it was a 360 show. night two was not a 360 show. i know i was there both nights.

and if you do 50K seats at say an average ticket price of 50, you get 2.5 mill
