Girl Anachronism
My mother doesn't understand why I love Muse, she only likes Starlight but my father comes to the Vieilles Charrues with me... My father doesn't understand my love for Muse. He only understands my love for AC/DC. My mother loves Uprising, Exogenesis and thinks Matt is a beautiful man. But Vieilles Charrues haaaaaa I agree, just bring your daughter along as a birthday present!! It would be great if we all find ourselves back in Paris together. Yes this. LyraSilvertongue
If they sell tickets on the day I have no chance. I can't pay for flights and find someone to have the children for me for 24 hours on the off chance I get tickets.

Girl Anachronism
No no no no no... Ok, here's what's been posted on the microcuts messageboard (it's from the Casino de Paris): Bonjour, Effectivement le concert de muse aura bien lieu au casino, mais malheureusement cet énénement sera en show case, totalement privé...!! Vraiment désolés bien à vous la billetterie Translation: Indeed the Muse gig will take place at our venue, but unfortunately this event will be a private show case. We're deeply sorry So, what it means is that to attend the gig there will probably be a contest to win your ticket. Those who won't need to win their tickets will be working for the music industry or journalists. Fuck my life. Today would definitely have been one of the shittiest days of 2010 so far. :'(
smiss
:'( So it's like the Chatelet!! Maybe some tickets will be sold the d-day no?
Girl Anachronism
:'( So it's like the Chatelet!! Maybe some tickets will be sold the d-day no? Hopefully maybe. But this is a smaller venue than Châtelet and I expect the worst considering how messy the organisation of the Virgin radio contest was for Châtelet. seregon
So does that mean the Louvre gig could also be true?
Girl Anachronism
So does that mean the Louvre gig could also be true? Well the rumour has not been proven wrong so far. But it's still just a rumour. Whereas for the Casino de Paris gig, Francis Zegut presented it as being almost certain. It's all in the grammar of his sentences. Roughly for the Louvre, he said "Muse would play at the Louvre museum" whereas for this one he said "Muse at Casino de Paris" and gave a date. L.
Who is this Francis Zegut? He is a French Music journalist / radio DJ. I really don't understand why Muse would feel the need to play to a showcase of industry people... It's not like they need to get known in France! Ah well, it was a fun rumour whilst it lasted. Girl Anachronism
Who is this Francis Zegut? Sorry, I forgot you're not supposed to know who he is. He's a famous journalist/radio host and has been hosting rock radio shows for years (no, actually probably more decades). You've probably seen the video of that interview for a French TV show where Matt says floccinaucinihilipilification (sorry can't be arsed checking the spelling) and the journalist looks at him and says " what?". Well that man is Francis Zegut.

I wanted to meet him in order to give him a hug but I didn't find him (he's the man who made me definitely fall in love with Muse when he played Butterflies and Hurricanes during one of his shows years ago).
