Mine knows I take off for a week every couple years to follow Tori Amos around. He doesn't like it but he gets over it. I mean, even if you miss the presale or don't have the money right away, you might still be able to get tix before October. That said I understand the feeling of wanting to have the tickets right now so the excitement can build. I know this is incredibly weird, but a part of me hopes they don't announce it the next couple days ... I'm so depressed about something else that there's no way I'm going to enjoy anything.
