Best drumming on a muse song....

Recommended Posts

Assassin is just speed, its meaningless compared to Citizen Erased, Space Dementia or Knights of Cydonia. Assassin is just the slow demise type sequel of Stockholm Syndrome. "Best" drumming, for those who fully appreciate it, was deffo on OOS followed by Absolution. Showbiz was great, and so is BHAR, but showbiz was too immature and BHAR is too mature in a sense. I liked the days of hullabaloo...

None of them are that special, i would have to say assassin in terms of skill, and space dementia because i love drumming that song

Technically, Assassin isnt skillful at all - it's just fast.

Space Dementia (where he does that funky beat on the bell of the ride cymbal) thats quite cool - but again not THAT skillful.

In terms of skill, Knights Of Cydonia for the double hits on a single pedal. Now THAT'S skill!

;)

put it this way...

the best druming songs are:

Apocolypse Please (Better from Wembley Stadium 2007)

Stockholm Syndrome

Starlight

Supermassive Black Hole

Map of the Problematique

Assassin

Exo-polotics

Knights of Cydonia

Dead Star

Space Dementia

I'd say anyway...

ooh my thread's back :p

I'm really getting into the B&H drumming again, specially post-Wembers. The 'jam' before the piano solo is awesome, Dom always manages to change it up for the better . I also like the live drums during Feeling Good..yes yes the song isn't the best but he damn well improves it :)

Oh an I now love the Who Knows Who drums too :D:p
