Krakow is really beautiful, you can walk to most of important places, and basically your feet are the best mean of transport;) You should definitely go everywhere where possible in the Old Town, there're many secret amazing pubs and cafes hidden behind the gates and facades.

cool can you recommend anywhere in particular. cafes would be very useful :D

I'm more looking forward to this festival than Wembley because we have a bigger chance to get CE/Bliss.

Weird that they haven't announced more bands in weeks. :wtf: Festival is in 2 1/2 months!

Hey guys,

I was hoping that if any of you wanted to buy tickets (or have friends who want to) you'd be able to purchase mine. I have web tickets and haven't registered any details on them yet so it'd be easy enough done.

My Dad has just been made redundant so I am helping him out with money so I am sacrificing the trip which would have cost a fair bit. I am more than happy to offer tickets slightly cheaper than the sale price too. Any way if people could spread the word that would be amazing.

Many thanks.

Too bad this festival isn't in July, Ryanair are currently doing a deal for £10 for flights, Krakow included! I now kinda wish I could go to this

i know krakow well! i am half polish, but i live in the uk.

i'm very very seriously tempted to go, so cheap, so small, and i've found really cheap flights. the only thing stopping me right now are that my family from poland will be visiting us in the uk at the time haha worst luck!

still think i'll go though, unfortunately my b/f is skint and i have no money to pay for him so i will most likely be going alone, i'll be camping.

any kind people think they might let me find them and say hello, for a bit of company? i speak terrible polish but enough to get by, i'll trade my linguistic skills for company?!

I'm going too. already got the ticket but the problem is that I have no room booked :/ what a pity :( maybe I'll manage to work it out somehow... Can't wait to see Muse though

cheers!

i wish i could go. i'm actually in poland right now visiting family (100% polish, haha :)) but i'm leaving in a few days, and my parents wouldn't let me come back for 2 days to see a concert haha. all good though, seeing them in October ^^

i'm going to krakow for about 5 days - it looks so lovely, i wanted to explore loads.

roped my older friend in for the trip.she is 63. i was going to go to the gig on my own. we had the same arrangement for Stockholm and Limoges and it worked very well.

however, have just bought her a ticket to the festival  well she said it would be a new experience

That's great you're coming!

Does anyone know if they're planning to announce any other band???

BTW I speak French, so if you wish I can show you some of Cracovie:)

A few others and myself are looking into going...very nervous about camping though :(

so don't. accomodation is very cheap in Krakow. and you can buy a day ticket if preferred.
