seregon Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Should we get a return to Bern Wankdorf (though if we have these passes I guess it doesn't matter) and from the stadium decide what we want to do? I don't really want to queue so I'm happy going off exploring and coming back in time when doors open or just after?
nikite Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 DEADSTAR;7865836']nope it's without names. It's totally transferable. Oh ok, so yeah I guess I can get some. How many of those are needed? I'll probably take one for myself too

We have different tickets anyway. We'll have to have a proper discussion at the airport/on the train so we can then be 100% sure at the time what each of us want to do
aline_d Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Hello! Oh yes, we know all about the French! Our group won't get there anywhere near early enough to beat you guys but I'm almost certainly going to go to the stadium as soon as I get to Bern What ticket have you got? I won't take part in that battle, I have a seat for this one C10 row 1 seat 500 By the way I still need advice about how parking around the stadium. So far I plan to park as soon as possible and walk. Any tip?

seregon Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Yep This thread is exploding nicely now! It is! Excitement is in there. Do you think we should have the date in the title, just to remind gig/setlist followers?
Pip Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 It is! Excitement is in there. Do you think we should have the date in the title, just to remind gig/setlist followers? I was thinking that too but needs a mod to add the date.
aline_d Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I read you consider this gig as the first stadium gig. And what about "Rock In Rio" in Lisbon? It's a festival, right?
Pip Posted May 11, 2010 Author Posted May 11, 2010 I read you consider this gig as the first stadium gig. And what about "Rock In Rio" in Lisbon? It's a festival, right? This is the first stadium gig, yes Lisbon is 'just' a festival!

seregon Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 ok so no chance to see the new stage in Lisbon? Great That's what I thought Even more exited. I doubt they'll be able to use their new stage set up at Festivals, I think the only festival they'll put effort in more will be Glastonbury as I know they will want that performance to be "special".
aline_d Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Though, the secret Paris gig will probably reveal what they've been practising IBTY
seregon Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 IBTY I honestly want to see that haha. Showbiz and that are the ones I really want to see!
trogette Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 I just remembered something I wanted to ask, do Swiss trains have phone/laptop charging sockets, and if so will they take UK plugs or would an adaptor be useful? I know it's not that far but hey, every bit of juice helps

I know it's not that far but hey, every bit of juice helps Some do, others don't but I guess that the trains that go from Zurich to Bern are kinda "big", so it's likely! Not sure about adaptors, I know they're needed when WE go to England, so I guess you need one too
[DT|_Me]DEADSTAR Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 Yes, you'll need an adaptor if you want to put your laptop in charge. lol I try to imagine an adapter for your huuuuuuge sockets to ours, that thing must be as big as a fist.

Not sure about adaptors, I know they're needed when WE go to England, so I guess you need one too There are charging stations in the train at the beginnning and the end of each coach on the upper floor. I could only organize 2 passes so far. Pip told me that there are 6 in their group.
nikite Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 DEADSTAR;7866054'] Pip told me that there are 6 in their group. Yeah I know, so who exactly is still needing daily passes?
